Not really mate because I kept hitting GT cars, 5 times i ran into WIDFO because of lag, and i hit another couple in racing incident, obviously matt will decide if they were my fault, which they probably were because i always get the blame for them.
Since your in the LMP and its your job to get round safely then that is why it tends to be your fault as you don't have supremacy on the track over GTE car

It can't always be the LMP's fault mate, GT cars have to share some of the blame when they don't stick to the racing line and start moving about when we close in on them. I had more incidents in this one race with GT cars then i did in the whole of season 2.

the big question is why does this just happen to you? why does everyone else not have these issues with the GTE cars, yes we do sometimes have a close call but you are the only one who ends up in contact with them

You ran into GTE cars? Doesn't normally happen unless they crash and you can't avoid them. Could have some odd scenario like me in Race 1 where the BMW couldn't see me and switched sides just as I was passing. That really ticked me off even if I got no damage(somehow!).

i was hit by immortal in race one i think on lap 11 or 15. 2 laps after my pit stop. After that 2 flat tyres and a lost stint as i had to do 12 laps like that :( I tryed to go to the side and slow down but it didnt work out. Its hard to do lap times and get out of the way. I dont blame him it just the nature of the track but it crossed my race :( shame

you should see a lagging by widfo;)
I was lucky enough ( 10 cm maybe ) and I could finish far away from track. Not his fault but It was tons of sweat there:nervous:

WIDFO's lag definately mad me weary when I came up to pass him but as soon as I got next to him the lag stopped and I was able to get around cleanly. Had not problems with the GTE cars really other than once I was in the middle of a corvette race for the lead and i had to be careful not to get inn there way which slowed me down alot. however it didn't really matter by then anyways because the audi sucks and that race is probably the last time we will see one this season

I had 5 lag accidents with WIDFO alone, it completely destroyed my race, and the annoying thing is there can't even be any justice dealt because it was lag and i doubt he even realised it had happened.

Which means I don't I have to worry about be outclassed on the straights anymore.

WIDFO is tricky though, his connection is fine just that the lag spikes are really disturbing. You can go from behind him to him lag spiking into your rear giving you engine damage as well as rear suspension damage. I try to avoid running directly behind him on the straights but when you're in the middle of a corner it's really hard to run offline. I got killed on the corner exit at Daytona, but Indy wasn't so bad though.

I have to say,WIDFO was seriously lagging and passing him was a shot in the dark, was sure i was gonna get a lag punt at some point but managed no contact with WIDFO at all 👍

After landing a quick flight from Willow Springs to Laguna Seca, AAR and the new C60 team have already started testing and will work from the garage at the racetrack rather than transporting the cars back to HQ. We will be testing throughout the two weeks leading up to the race so feel free to join in if you wish. (add me PSN: redbullrider20 to have access to these sessions)

first test today in the C60 the car has speed and can run very consistently for many laps. barely had to change the setup so I'm if I fine tune it I can pick up a few tenths or so

Luckily I pm'd Zovo my race run laps and gear settings and fuel stuff too and I have a lap time to try and beat with the slightly revised setup.

Though I'm suspecting I could go quicker with the newer tune while having slightly better tyre wear too. Also don't forget Immortal.

I know how good of a driver Nin and IMMORTAL are, but I'm honestly starting to question the BoP of the 908.... :indiff:

Why don't you test all the cars yourself and see?

But from what I got and the 3 other guys that speced the cars with me all the cars are level

You need to see the fastest laps from all the races and realize that the 908 isn't overpowered. Indy I had 0.3. Daytona you had 0.2 but I could have 0.4 faster if I had been pushing at max so net 0.2 faster. Immortal was 0.2 faster than chozza and I was 0.1 faster . The specs are not unfair in my view. I've been in series where specs still have a second gap. On phone so couldn't write it better.

Ran the C60 and 908 back-to-back and the lap times were similar. I apologize I guess I'm just frustrated that we've been getting creamed by the 908s pretty much all season, and last.

this should have been sent to me right after the race in your incident report....

Something that all drivers should have sent to me already!!!!

I think the 908 is fast out of the box so to speak, where as you have to work a bit harder to make the others go as fast. That's what the difference is i think, there will come tracks though where we might have an edge, but there's no doubt that going fast is just that bit easier in the pugs, and i'm sure @memto89 will testify how hard it was to try and make an R18 go anywhere near as fast.
