I had no incidents to report that were note worthy so I didn't send you one

I still need to know that so that i know i don't need to look for anything, if people don't send me them then i have to watch pretty much your whole race to check which takes hour and hours for each person

Beside immortal hiting the back of me and takeing out 2 wheels in corner 3 on lap 11 or 15 cant remember now i didnt have any incidents. I dont think that was anybodys foult just the wrong place and time so its up to you memto to decide if you spot it. But i dont think it should be a penalty for him. He drove a great race

Hey don't knock thick cables... less resistance, more current :p

My speaker cabinet cables are insanely bulky and are very high quality :D
 
I can say after finally watching some of the race back that it looked a lot more harder racing than it was, from the cockpit at least it was calm for me.

Race 1


Lap 6 - Nin-Chin - AJHG1000 - Racing incident

Verdict: NFA

It is clear that the BMW is struggling round the final turn and although the car does change lines, that turn for a GTE car is hard enough without having a good car underneath you. It would have been avoided if a simple brake and life off had happened. Next time please be a bit more careful.



Lap 13 - TRL_IMMORTAL - Armada8589 - Racing incident

Verdict: NFA

A small incident where the GTE car runs wide into the path of the LMP car leaving no room to react. Although cars take damage they do not pit in straight away.



Race 2

Lap 3 - eDirtyTati - the_proffs - racing incident

Verdict: NFA

There was no space to make the pass and although you tried to back out of it at the last minute it was to late



Lap 4 - Chozza_32 - ZovomirVanBasten - Avoidable contact

Verdict: 60 secs

Already held your hands up to this one and it was pretty clear cut, just out braked yourself into the back of zovo



Lap 8 Lap 15 Lap 18 Lap 27 Lap 34 Lap 61 Lap 93 - Chozza_32 - WIDFO - XnfsfreakX - Oldboy - the_proffs - Driving standards

Verdict: Warning 1

You can not push a car round a corner, the rules state that the LMP car MUST find a way round the GTE cars, you can not force the issue. None of the other LMP drivers have this issue and it is a clear cut that you are not pacient enough nor do you leave enough space for the difference in speed. Most of these incidents are minor but 2 of them resulted in damage to cars.



To brake it down for you:



  1. All other LMP drivers will follow a GTE car on the other side of the road, you follow in their wheel tracks.
  2. you don’t leave enough space behind a GTE car so when they hit the brakes you have to time to react.




Lap 16 - XnfsfreakX - FRT-Legacy - Glen-Alz-81 - Accident

Verdict: NFA

After a spin from FRT in the final turn there is no space for the other cars to avoid the accident.



Lap 19 - eDirtyTati - Iwasere - Accident

Verdict: NFA

while iwasere is trying to over take round the outside the bmw understeers out during the exit of the corner forcing the 908 off the road, no damage and not much time lost.



Lap 30 - Jonnyb - Chozza_32 - Warning

Verdict: Warning

When it is clear that a LMP car is coming past please do not move across the track from one side to the other, although nothing came of it it was a very close moment.



Lap 93 - Chozza_32 - WIDFO - Oldboy - Avoidable contact

Verdict: 60 secs

GTE cars are allowed to fight on track, and as zovo proved it is possible to hold station until the road is clear. You had no right of way to stick your nose in to the GTE fight when there was no space, you then rear ended old boy almost off the track and then proceeded to hop over the curb trying to dive up the inside of WIDFO when you were in no place to make an over take i.e. at least 7m behind the car

Verdict: Warning

In the drivers brief it stated about unsafe rejoins, now i know everyone had issues with falling off track but you need to watch your mirrors when rejoining the track.



Notes:



In the rules it states that you MUST provide a incident report after the race, it takes a few mins and is a simple PM saying all the incidents that happened throughout the race, GET INTO THE HABBIT of doing these after every race, i don’t want to keep reminding everyone, some of you guys are great at getting them over to me straight away which makes my life a lot easier. All incident reports must be sent to me through PM on GTP and need to include everything from major incidents to someone rejoining the track badly etc, there is 2 hours of 15 cars which results in many many hours of stewarding for all the stewards and its something we would like to get done properly but quickly.


In multi class racing, respect must be given to every car on track please make sure that you show this respect, I know it is racing but the more respect the cleaner your race will be.


Quitting, its about the most disgraceful thing someone can do, you have a team mate and your both fighting for a championship. If you quit you are disrespecting them and the effort they have put in. If you have a hard race then it is a hard race, everyone has them but if you make the full distance then that gives your team mate a good chance to rectify the issue instead of not giving them a single hope in hell.



House keeping:

I need @gtpcaine @Cobani to let me know what team name and car you will be running so that i can publish the updates and allow and movement of cars if people feel the need.

Once they have let me know then there will be cars available for teams to chose. It will fall in order of points so the top teams will get to chose first.

@GTPL_oldboy if you are available would you like to sign up as a reserve driver? this means that you will be driving for who ever and which ever car needs you not just P24 as there is no 3rd driver/reserve for one team allowed. On the flip side there is a possibility that you could form a new team if you wish?

I also forgot to say @fortbo DO NOT park on track, if your going to give up then please give up in the pits, you were warned about it after Daytona and this is now your second warning about it, stop it or you will be suspended for a race.

Yeah I don't mind about the name.. I guess I could bring my ITCC team-name now I'm in a Ford but meh! Just greatful to have a team-mate! 👍

To all GTE Teams, with the withdrawal of CCR GT that means there is a spot for the Vette, how it will work if the team with the highest points in the season so far will get to chose first and then work our way down until someone takes it or no one takes as they are all happy with their cars
 
Is anyone interested in an open practice session at Laguna Seca? You can prep or just hang out. I will host one if there is enough interest.

Ok, I understand. I can be a reserve driver for all GTE teams. If any GTE team will need a driver, he can report to me. My consideration for one race is only 500 EUR. First come first served :D
LMP cars is not my story :)

:( :( Wish I could have been around for the start of the season. That Vette would be lovely to use back from Laguna though... time to find a seat

How much time do we have to make a decision?
 
I'm kinda interested in this. If the times are doable, I'd definitely like to participate. I would just need to decide if I want to do this in LMP with The Audi R18 or GT with the BMW M3 (Which I feel should be the LMS car instead of the N24 car).


Also, Find it abit weird that the Peogeot 908 Base model isn't a choice. Kinda think maybe it (or the Audi R10) should replace the Bentley Speed 8 and then you have a complete, semi-modern LMP class, but that's just me.
