ok buy a car from the car dealer mod in any way with only 150,000 credits (this includes the car you bought). the track is Cote d'Azur race and then post your times.

It doesnt matter, here are my times.
I chose the Clio Sport from the dealership and spent approximately 149,000 in mods including the car.
415 hp with super soft tires yielded a great handling car.
The time??? 1:45.040
There you go, lets see some more times.

Just got to it today
Ran several cars. Lotus, Toyota MR-2, Opel Speedster.
The Opel was fastest for me at 1:40.160
Then the Lotus at 1:40.572
Lastly the Toyota, with the most HP at 1:40.953.

I actually ran a Lotus Elise.
I broke 1:39 with an RX-7 but I don't know what I spent so that automatically invalidated the time as far as I was concerned.
I have another RX-7 waiting in the wings to run this but I have just pulled a 12 hour day and there is time enough tomorrow.

The smaller the car the easier it is to negotiate thru some of the narrow parts of the track. Also, I ran auto, and set the tranny to 20 or so in the "auto-wide" to spice up the acceleration.

I think I can be beaten pretty easily, I saw some places to make time. I'm gonna keep running this to see If I can beat it.

Yo, remember, I'm not counting that RX-7 time cause I don't have any idea what I spent on it. I have built up a new one and stayed under the limit. I'll run it later to see what happens.

The house was quiet and I did this with the RX-7. It is the fastest so far.
I obliterated myself with it.

The car was running a bit loose in the tail. I will spend some time this week working some of that out and see if I can break into the 1:36's

You are quite fast, I've just figured out this track with a very low speed car (VW Lupo Cup Car) and was able to transfer that to faster cars.
I was looking at the thread the Talentless has opening their private challenge on Monaco with the Arcade Calsonic Skyline. Even the slowest of them is 4 whole seconds faster than me.
I'm still trying to figure out how to consistently get thru that mess at the bottom of the hill (with the wall that is really easy to crash into). If I could get thru there smoothly, then I would consider myself to be fast.
GTS-R you can make that RX-7 time "official". I think I'm done for a while.

My times can be improved. The more racing I get under me, the better Ill be getting.

was bored tonight so i decided to give this a try, after some trial and error w/ a few different cars i thought would be good candidates, i ended up goin for the good ol Z06. Stayed within the 150k restraints and as a matter of fact, w/ the car, the mods i put on, and an oil change, it came out to EXACTLY 150k...haha, phew. didnt really do too many power adders, just a stage 1 upgrade and oil change, the rest of my funds were focused all the other aspects of the car since its got a decent amount of power to begin w/. Ended up w/ 454hp, but im still breakin it in so it'll probably go up a little. Now im really not that great on Cote, but i managed to pull a 1'36.385 after about 20 laps or so. W/ some more practice and a little work on my settings im sure i could probably dip down into the 1'35's at least. Im sure in the hands of a pro they could turn out some pretty good times w/ this car
