Yes, you will come last and it will probably take over 3 hours mate...maybe 4. You have about less than half the hp than the other racing cars...

:lol:hah in a Fiat? um..im not sure how many laps...but i know it's gonna be quite a few...but then atleast you don't have to be worried about being rammed into every single turn...

:D Hi ving,
Actually it won't take but a little longer than it takes the lead car to do 78 Laps. You'll only be allowed to finish out whatever lap you're on after the lead car crosses the finish line. (At least that's what happened to me when I ran Laguna Seca Endurance in my Vitz, and YES, I came LAST.)...UB57
:D

Gil did it in a Lupo Cup car... Give it a shot! By 30 laps in, you'll know how it's gonna go, one way or the other.

Hi Duke,
:D Can't wait for GT4 & real OLR, I'll challenge Gil to 78 Laps @ Cote in his Lupo & I'll use my Vitz!!!...UB57
:D:boggled: :D :boggled: :D

Maybe you could do it in Free Run ving, or have a look at the three hour races series in the Spot Races forum ;)

but they arent agaist other cars... i want traffic damn it :p

in free run cote has to be unlocked doesnt it? i dont do arcade.

Oh, so you're that type huh...no arcade. Oh well, you had potential.

what tha???
what do you mean "had"???
:p
I do simulation only. I just like to drive and tune. not unlock stuff :)

Ah, but you had arcade potential mate, you can still drive and tune in Free Run, it's like settings and run...

Actually, I did the FF cup at Monaco in the Lupo. It's so narrow, that it is pretty easy to drive there.
If you run the enduro in the Fiat, you will get chewed up and spit out!!
You WILL be OWNED by the AI.
You will be BOHICA'd.

Thats:

G'day fellow crazy person :p

I gave it a trial run this morning before work. I manage to complete 17 laps (I only had about 30 mins to spare) and had only just been lapped for (I think) the third time by the fron car.
My lap times werent too bad averaging 1.58.xx with a few in the 1.54.xx range.
I first started with out upgrading the suspension at all) getting only 1 lap in before deciding to upgrade. then went and bought semi-race suspension.

My fiat setup:
race flywheel, chip, t2 tires, oil change, semi-race suspension.
height: lowest at rear, front up 2 from there.
dampening: F,6 / R,7
Camber F 2.0 / R 1.0
stabilizers: F/R 5.
tsc: 1
asm: 0

Gee it handles well... and those race cars, especially the mazda sound great overtaking.

interesting point, after 17 laps the tires showed little wear (I didnt pit at all). the front tires were a pretty shade of yellow and the rears were still green.... dont know how many laps i could have done on the one pair of tires.

for next time: must buy sports gearbox as i only got up to 4th gear and the bugger has 6!!!

As has been said before it will only take you as long as the winner plus the remainder of your current lap when the winner crosses the line. So if the winner takes 2 hours it will tkae you no longer than 2 hours and 2 minutes.

so a quick calculation... 3 laps down at 17 laps = a little under 1/4 of the race done.....

so at 78 laps i should be 13 laps down plus pits... probably at 20 and 40 laps.... loosing a lap each time...

15 laps down at 78 laps (end of race)
doesnt sound too bad really :)

are my calculations sound?

Yeah. provided you can eek out an extra 3 laps from your tires. Your calculation suggests 63 laps and you are pitting at 20 and 40. If your tires aren't screaming red then yeah. If they are screaming red you may need another pit.
