I think i could easy, my tires were wearing so slowly. I recon i could get 25 or maybe even more outta them...

UB57... both of my minds are very sound thanks!!! :p

Actually, The more I think on this...
What about running it in arcade mode on "PROFESSIONAL"? (push the L1 and R1 buttons whilst selecting the dificulty level).
That will put in the pit stops and the variable of having to run against the AI.
Of course to keep it fair we'd have to run "stock" so the AI doesn't open a #10 can of Zonda on us:lol:

but then i'd have to unlock cote in arcade... I havent played arcade yet and I've had the game for 3-4 restarts...
I dont play arcade at all...

ran it again this morning (for another trial (on tire wear))

ran 20 laps and had to leave for work. tires green rear, just turned orange front...

this time running the car a little harder (and yet my lines were tidier at the same time) and getting low 1.54xx's...

only got laped for the third time on the 18th lap instead of the begining of 17th this time.

this is actually quite fun :)
might try it in a different car... maybe a stock rgt or vx220...

interestingly the field was quite diverse:
gt1 road car, jaguar race car, altezza lm, esperante, r390 race car.

more interesting: altezza was coming 3rd and the jag last (well 5th anyhow).

Run them on "hard" difficulty with an F1 car. It ain't a test of skill. But It will unlock the tracks and prizes (for all three difficulty levels) fairly quickly.

Unlocking all the arcade tracks will also allow you to join us in some on-line racing.:D

I take back my previous post saying that it will take you no more than 2 minutes longer than the winner.

It would have already taken you more than an hour and you haven't finished your first lap yet. LOL.

eh?
what sir are u on about?

If you win the Cote Endurance you might win an F1. LOL

Seriously how do you think you would go at Rome, Seattle, Super Speedway or Trial Mountain Endurance. These fields are closer to the speed of the Fiat than the others.

You could also try and get your hands on a Miata and do the Miata endurance.

As far as what I was on about in my other post the race is about 2 hours long. You have had 2 test sessions that have taken you probably 1-1.5 hours.

So all up it would have taken you over 3 hours.

My 12-year old just won his first F1 at Super Speedway endurance, on his first try, with a Stage One Modified Vertigo.
I did assist him getting the I-A license.
Your best bet is to use the Viper or Jag XJ220 Road car to win the Polyphony Digital cup via the "Save Trick".
Of course with your current garage you have some work to do.

First win the "Spider and Roadser" cup in Beginner, You now should have a bright shiny Miata LS. Give it an Oil change and a set of T3 tires and go to the Roadster endurance cup.
You have only 1 in 4 chance of winning an F1 here, but if you win, you'll be 100,000 cr richer. If you're careful with that cash you can build a Lancer Evo- 7 capable winning at Super Speedway enduro.

Your other option is to build up a car. If you start with the Camaro SS (win it at "Stars and Stripes" in Beginner league) and carefully modify, and drive well. You must have a Racing Tranny. You can use it to beat the Amrican Cup in Amateur League. (You'll be fine as long as the C5-R doesn't appear in the starting grid)

you calling my fiat slow boy!!!!
:p

You can also win F1s in the Professional Series - Dream Car 7x15 laps, Polyphony Digital Cup (Non tuned Cars only - I was against a Nissan Z concept) 10x20 laps and the GT Series where you need one of the big 4 cars ie F1, R390, 787B or GT1.

In the Dream Car series you race against a ZZII and the fantasy LM Cars ie RX7, Imprezza, Altezza, S2000, FTO.

You may have a chance at the Polyphony Digital Cup. My opposition was the Nissan Z Concept, Skyline R33, 2 Lancers and can't remember. The Z concept pitted about every 7 laps. Remember that this is for non tuned cars.
