could anyone who's unlocked the Extreme Hall answer this question?

how the HELL did you beat the LM cars in the Gran Turismo World Championships in the Professional Hall? a stupid Audi R8 LM keeps putting 1-2min on me each race and the Toyota GT-One keeps putting 30-40 seconds on me :(

in comparison, i'm using a Nissan 350Z Concept LM edition w/ stage 4 turbo and have gone as far as dumping in a 70 shot nitrous kit :( i didn't want to, but there was no way for me to beat those guys w/o it...and even with it, i'm being dropped by the above mentioned times :(

Yep listen to the above posts, your car has a higher center of gravity, it's not as good aerodynamically, it's no doubt heavier and the chassis is not as stiff. All this means that the 350Z is not as good a racer as the LMP, LMR and GT1 class cars on the grid. You need one of the 4,500,000Cr cars, ideally the Audi R8 since you can't buy the Bentley, but the GT-One or R390GT1 should do (DON'T GO FOR THE PANOZ, It's fast buy not as fast as the mid-engined cars).
 
Ha! That was funny. I remmber GT3 where using a 1000hp Zonda S i couldnt keep up in the corners with the Zonda Race car in the Zonda race.

Now you can add wings to cars so the Cerbera Speed 12 will be drivable :). The speed 12 in Gt2 with an {R} body was a monster and was my favorite car.

Bah, the newer cars can’t touch the speed of the group C cars. Mellow, earn 25% of the game to open the endurance races…then do either El Capitan 200 miles or Grand Valley 300KM. You will now have a car that is quite literally the dog’s bollocks. I went for the former so that I could learn the course.
 
Good idea, and the group C cars are indeed mentally fast.
 
i'll have the F1 soon, i'll be using that to beat that series first, and later on i'll challenge myself when i finally have a suitable car.


those newer leman cars cant keep up with the old ones....
 
Hey guys i have had gran turismo 4 since release date i have completed 38.9% of the game but i am stuck on the last race in the professional hall which is the gran turismo world championships i have been trying for so long without any success so i was wondering what car you guys would advice me to use and all the settings for that car as i am using the pescarolo and have done the first 2 races which are tokyo and super speed way but when i get too hong kong my car just fails me greatly tyres run out too fast and i cant turn corners properly please try and help me thanks alot

ok, go to endurance races and do El Capitan, and then when u have the minolta put a turbo on it and get street/racing hard tyres, and then hopefully you will win it, anyway thats how i did it....

In PAL version you get a bollocks car for the Grand Valley Enduro.... the Auto Union which can't even be raced.
 
I placed 6th in Hong Kong with my Minolta, yet still won the championship. So just do as good as you can on that track and move to the next one quickly to get rid of that god awful Hong Kong course.
 
I did it with the Mercedes CLK Race Car -- took me the batter part of 3 solid days of practicing and racing each course, but I got it done with that one.
 
Easiest way, atleast it was my solution : use an F1 car (you win it at the Nurburgring 24hour race) than b-spec the championship ;)
 
I used b-spec and my F1 car LOL! Driver won every race.

If you know how to drive any LMP or group C car will make it a cake walk for you. That's why I used my b-spec driver, it would have been a waste of my time.

i just saved up money from doint the tusukba wet race and selling the car over and over and over until i had about 4.7 mil, then i bought the Audi R8, hard tires, super hard tires, and a turbo and i blew the pack away, the only race i didnt win was hong kong because my dad turned the tv off when i was starting and i have a dfp so i couldnt pause right away so i ran into the wall on the first turn and got stuck so i just said screw this race and skipped it

it's probably my drivviing or the settings... but with that car i couldn't manage... with the black 787B i have no problems at all...

that nissan is going on my ****list for now

Yeah that's what I got. I wondered where I got it, I thought why doesn't he just use the R89C? But I forgot it is won at the sharp end of the mission hall.

I just did the Clubman Cup with the R89C. Turn off the driver aids, and it's good fun.
 
I used the Cadillac Cien Concept - Upgraded a few things (turbo e.t.c). You can win this car in one of the first races in Special Conditions Hall.
