hehe bike accidents.
When I was 8 or so I had just gotten a new bike: The Oreo bike. My uncle worked at Venture and got it. It had oreo hub caps, oreo pads, oreo seat cover, it was a riced out bike. I got on it and rode away, not really knowing how to use the handle brakes, as my previeus bike had the deal where you back pedal and its the brakes. So I get on the road and got honked at by a Mazda B Series truck(go figure) and went off the road and killed a mail box and slid on the road, using my face as an auxillery brake. That hurt. The mail box was turned 90 degrees, and was half on with a hugh dent from my head. I was wearing a helmet though, I would have been a human eraser with my head on the ground. It did something with the seat, as a week later my dad took it for a ride and the seat fliped off leaving the post(owch!!!). I had to take the hubs off after a gust of wind steered me into a rock a nieghbor had to prevent lawning(they were on a corner like we are)and I fliped it.
I got rid of that bike and got a Road Master Razor's Edge...the biggest crap ever. I was coating the chain and sprockets with WD-40 and sprayed the rims too. I went down our hill at about 25 and slamed the brakes. Nothing happened, I just kept going. Then they locked up and I fliped it. I was OK though. A month or so later I was riding through a hilly meadow near our house and there was a ditch that you really couldn't see and we were going about 30(I had a big analog speedo, you'll see how that has to do with this story)and when we saw it we slamed the brakes, my brother wiped out and was OK, I just kept going(brakes sucked on that bike)and hit it at about 20mph. I fliped it and landed on my back, only to have the bike land on me, with the big old speedo slamming me on my chest. I got up and collapsed, I was totally winded.
Since then I haven't crashed much, due to a new bike that is perfect for me.
A lot of flipping I did...
