ok what i meant was that the gun names were all changed (a Maverik M4A1 and a CV-47 in place of the Colt M4A1 and AK47) but...just found i could change that with a little editing (check it out at
http://www.cscentral.com/) so im going to be dling and playing 1.6 as soon as i get my hw done
btw for the shield i was refering to the people shooting at you cant kill you from the front; you can still get shot at from the sides and back

To complete the map's objectives:
fy maps:
*you have to eliminate all members of the opposing team
de maps:
*terrorists (t's) have to successfully bomb the target or eliminate all
*counter-terrorists (ct's) ct's have to eliminate all t's or make sure the bombsites arent blown up by the end of the round
as maps:
*ct's have to escort the VIP to safety
*t's have to make sure the VIP doesnt get to the rescue zone by eliminating all ct's
cs maps:
*ct's have to eliminate all t's or rescue all hostages
*t's have to eliminate ct's and/or make sure hostages aren't rescued by the end of the round
(geez that was a lot of eliminates i used in a row!)
therefore...yes, you do have to shoot at people...and a lot of times

the whole thing looks so much......worse you could say...ok yeah fake xP but you get used to it eventually..although I feel that 1.5 was better. 
start saving, maybe before you hit the age of 45 you might get it
