1.6 has been out for longer than 2 months.
and updates come with the game when u launch it, unlike 1.5
i hope its only a rumor there getting rid of 1.5 soon...

By that i mean not as developed as 1.5 :)
 
you dont know what your talking about: if the game is out and people are playing it, its DEVELOPED
& 1.5 has been out for a little more than a year

By developed i meant that it's fully taking over 1.5, given from the official site. But right now 1.6 is on STEAM, which is a separate thing than CS 1.5... So yah, I doubt they'd end 1.5 anytime soon. Maybe when CZ comes out :D
 
Sorry I got kinda tired going though all the replies but is there a lot of realistic gore?? Like better than Soldiers of fortune gore?

just wondering, is that 1.6 or not, and if not, how do you add maps to the list when you start a bot game? I suck:( :O
 
It's 1.5, what do you mean by add bots into maps?
If i caught the question right..basically you download the waypoints off the net for a map... like which i did with de_rats. Then they will move :D
 
no, not that, i mean how do you add maps to the list? Because you have the default maps and stuff but how do you add maps to the list? do you just add them to the folder?
 
For 1.5, just add the downloaded maps in to CSTRIKE >> MAPS.
For 1.6, make a new folder known as MAPS, then put them there...

In the CSTRIKE folder i believe.
I recently deleted it, so i can't check for you... but give me a list of the folders you see.. and i'll be able to tell you. :)

Is steam working for anyone at the moment? Because for the last couple of days I try and open it, it updates and says Steam is temorarily unuvailable.

I had that same problem a long time ago and I had to completely reinstall steam (delete the program, clear the system directory, make a new user name). I haven't had a problem since.
