Starting in less than 24 hours, I will be pulling for the TVR entry. Then again, I have always loved the Cubs. Like many of you, I will be starting my own lemans tomorrow at 4pm cst (Mine will differ most likely since I will be racing my tuscan for good luck). I hope all of you enjoy the race.

An inside secret... the C6R is 3 seconds slower than the old C5R, they have been having trouble for a long while trying to make the C6R as fast because more sharing with the road car :D

WOO! HOO!!!

LE MANS on speed chanel....starting at 8:30 centrel time WOO! HOO! and le mans raido 92.1 fm.....WOO! HOO!, sat 18th-19th.......OH YA!!!

(Don't miss it!.)

I know that direct advertising is not done on the forum, but i am sure that there are race fans out there and GTplanet memers that would like to get some LeMans shirts/caps with GT4 logo's on it. Go and google pescarolo and search a bit.

I just ordered a shirt and matching cap :)

I'll be cheering on Audi... although i remember being scowled for that in the past with people saying "they junk cars, just look at thier sales numbers." But deep down inside I really want that auston to do well. I'll watch the TVR entry with anticipation, becuase so many people talk about how unreliable the cars are (although that might be a different story with some real racing parts in the car that are made to be beaten on).

Mostly I hope for a clean race with an end promissing the best car/team won.

I just watched the Legend Le Mans race on eurosport, and I noticed that the borders along the Mulsanne straight are red. In GT4 those parts are also black!?
Did they changed the track?

It's possible. After all, the GT4 track is inaccurate - there's a new chicane in between the Dunlop Bridge and Tetre Rouge planned for this year's race to slow the cars down a little more.

Do you race?

Well, I dont know how accurate La Sarthe is in the game, either that or the car, but in game a 3:06.xxx is possible on license test S-15.
This year the fastest they have lapped is around 3:30.

I can't believe the Racing for Holland Dome forgot to put fuel before the race! :ouch: They had to pit after the first lap. Too bad, I was kinda hoping they would do well.

What a surprice..... no, the real cars pitting in 40 - 45 minutes, it means the tieres harder than in GT4... abd fuel, 80 litres reaches for 12 laps.. this is not a qualifing.

Still shouldn't make 20 odd seconds difference, the cars in GT4 are more powerful that the real ones to keep them competitive with the group C's, thats why the times are faster.

this is not a surprise , a game is a game...

I've got to say racing for holland is doing very well with no problems, especialy since they are being handicaped due to the lmp1 rules.

Watching the race and studying the track detail just makes me all the more impressed with the great job PD did on the Sarthe course. Its pretty remarkable.

Meanwhile, its looking like Kristensen will do it yet again, a Pesky has fought its way up to second, and the Astons continue to be more than the Corvettes can handle:

The DBR-9s have way more straight speed than the C6-Rs. They are bad boys, indeed.

It looks like the number 16 pescarolo has still a small chance to win this one and the number 64 vette is still in the same lape as the as the number 58 aston so everything still can happen

Great race:tup:

the pesky is catching up and dbr9 has pretty much gt1 in the bag. too bad for the dome mugen i was hoping for that car to get a podium. :guilty:

i guess you are refering to the DBR9, either you are the biggest idiot in the world for saying this, or you are just ignorant austin matin is british.... :dunce: :dunce: oh by the way the chevys has a couple of french drivers...
