www.getright.com > an awesome download manager, if you buy it, it stops coming up with a message everytime you open it but, no biggy. It automatically downloads the link instead of using IE's downloader. If the link isn't picked up properly you can "Right Click" and "Copy link Location" then paste it in the File > Enter New URL or CTRL + N.
Pretty spiffy. Although there's many other similar programs, Getright is good.
What makes it so great like other download managers as that you can pause and resume, and schedule downloads to start and once finished disconnect or shutdown the computer.
I tried that program and it sucks ass, will never do that again. Such false advertising... it's like .01 kbps than what I had without it. whoo... hoo...
Download Accelerator is garbage. When I was doomed with a 56k line I used DAP Plus, and two years later, some parts of the program are still stuck on my hard drive.
That would be very nice for 56k users, although it's just a common courtesy and not something that can really be made as a rule. I have to second ALPHA's recommendation for GetRight - I downloaded hundreds of megabytes of data before I got my cable modem, thanks to GetRight. It's really a great program! 👍
