Wow what a fantastic game...I'm playing it on easy but I'm still finding the Volks a challenge (I'm not THAT levelled up so I guess that would be why). I just got a hold of the rocket launcher now, and wow that thing is amazing!

I quite like it. Certainly fun, if repetitive. I wish there was a bit more meat to the game. It kinda' feels like an extended demo. You can shoot, throw things, blow things up, drive around and do stunts etc and jump about, which is all very well. But it's a little too samey. Reminds me of old platform games; run, jump, get orb/mushroom/gem, kill random enemies, kill boss at end, repeat.

Still for what it does it does it well. Level 4 with explosions is dynamite! The noise! The Firefly's a fun weapon to use.:dopey:
And at least when you get an achievement it gives you extra skill points (well the ones for lvl4 strength, athletics etc does anyway). Got the Shin gen(?) left to do, but this is after putting in a solid 20 hours since yesterday (long weekend for me :) ).

Still to do more of the races and I may even start on a harder level now I know the game better. Downloaded the 4 free agent skins too.
It's fun and will take some time for me to get bored of. But this isn't like a GTA game. The similarity is there but it's very slight. Perhaps the game is a little too open and free? A few specific missions or objectives would've been nice. I mean apart from doing the stunts and races driving it pretty much pointless. It's quicker on foot. So why not have a few car oriontated objectives?

But I'm not really complaining. It's a great way of killing time and I love playing it for the explosions if nothing else!

I've not played a game for this long for ages... It's really very good, especially when you start to maximize your levels. I've also grown to like the graphics, which I found quite bland before. But now that I've completed the story on normal mode, there isn't much more to do anymore. IMO, I don't think there is much replay ability in it unless I play co-op, so I may give the hardest mode a pass and sell the game on... I want the Halo beta, though! :(

There were stressful moments when trying to get to some of the generals. The one that stood out was at the docks, where you had to try and get onto the cargo ship. I probably would have jumped onto it and made it much easier if I had better agility at the time, but I took the long hard way around... I was secretly glad that the general (hell, all of them) are so dumb that you can kick them to death on the spot!

On the subject of achievements, I also got the body juggler and car juggler achievements by using the homing missile launcher. The body one was very easy - just throw it into the air, target and keep shooting. With the car, it's a bit more difficult, but if there are enough cars or other explosive objects around the car you're shooting at, it will explode into the air high enough for you to shoot and shoot. It probably took me 15 attempts.

Edit: I didn't realise you can actually turn crime ON or OFF afterwards. There maybe a bit more fun with this game yet then!

Just had a pretty epic co op game with John...the online for this is very impressive! It really did blow me away (I had fairly low expectations after San Andreas 'multiplayer').

I finally got the car juggler, I still am having problems doing the body juggler, but does anyone know a way how to do the Driving high.

I feel exactly the same. It's really very fun. I should play the game all the way through with someone sometime. :)

I've also just got the "Master Agent" achievement, which took me long enough to get...

I've finally got the body juggler, 2 front flips and 4 star driving agent achievements.

i'm clocking at about 12 hours of game time and this game is very freakin' cool. Coop with friends is awesome (cruisin' around in cars and blowing **** up) but its always so very fluid! my god... I really wasn't expecting that much from this game, but it keeps on givin' and givin'...!!

I also still love this game and just cant get enough of it. I played for around 12-14 hours straight on saturday. Thats not even including the time I put in on friday. I spent 3 hours straight just rock climbing with one of the friends on my friends list. Did you guys know that the SUV at level 4 can climb straight up vertical objects by holding the B button. You get about 4 or 5 seconds that the SUV sticks to an object if you hold down the B button. I was even able to drive upside down on certain objects!!!! The SUV at level 4 is absolutely insane.
I have also beat this game on several different settings with several different people I played with. Its definelty much harder on the medium difficulty (ruthless). I want to eventually go through on the hardest setting (psychotic) now that my character is level 4 on everything besides shooting. I am still collecting orbs and getting random achievements. Most of the achievements come by pure accident. Just taking my time and really enjoying this game. :)
Did anyone find all 800 orbs yet?

Not yet. I have about 468 Agility Orbs, and I know where one or two others are, but then I'll have no clue at all... The Hidden Orbs are much harder - only 120 or so of those.

That pretty cool with the SUV. I only found out about the car's abilities yesterday, so getting max driving skills was made much more fun. I saw this image the other day that someone had managed to drive the SUV up to the top of Wang's skyscraper. Very crazy.

Yes if you did it just right you could drive up almost any building. Its very hard and takes some getting used to because the B button is also the hydrolic bounce button. So if you press B and let off you bounce off the side of the building. Defintly takes some skill. I have driven up the side of a few buildings but not on top of them yet. It could easily be done with some practice. The person I was playing with went crazy the first time he saw me driving up a building. lmao

I have about 480 Agility Orbs, so it will take a while to find these remaining ones.

I've heard the ability to drive on walls with the SUV was actually a glitch discovered by a tester during production, but because it fit along with the game so well they just decided to make it a feature.

The physics can be amazing sometimes in this game. We were driving around in the wheelie car and I had him stand on the back. I could ride an endless wheelie down the road. If he stands on the front it wont work. If you really want to ride a hardcore bumper dragging wheelie down the road then have your partner pick up and carry a dumpster or another car. Then have them hop on the back of your car. Its extremly funny to see and if you do it fast enough you can pop a wheelie so hard it will stand straight up in the air on the back bumper. lol
Just remember the car that pops the best wheelies is in Los Muertos and it has square tail lights.

This game is insanely fun! Has anyone climbed to the top of the ferris wheel? I'm having so much fun just jumping from building to building and rock climbing in the various trucks. Is the agency SUV the best for rock climbing? Also, what cars have hydraulics?

If you liked to have fun in the free roaming games like GTA or Saints row then you will love this game. The entire game is co-op with no loading screens. You can jump building to building, pick up cars, shoot heat seeking rockent launchers, take the SUV and climb literally UP the side of buildings. I now have well over 30 hours into the game and I had over 24 hours into the demo. The fun factor is unlimited with a fun co-op person.
If you have a good imagination (which you do DG) then this game can last forever. If all you want to do is beat it and move on then its probably just a rental for you. I have also been shocked with some of the reviews considering its one of the most fun games I have played on the 360.
There is also a demo on the marketplace. This is one of those games you do not want to miss out on IMO. However if your a person that only cares about achievement points then you will probably be done with this game within a couple days.

Yes I have been to the top of the ferris wheel. I have also been climbing BUILDINGS with the SUV at level 4 stars. Yes straight up the side of buildings!!! You have to hold the B button and the SUV will squat and stick to any surface. If you hold the B button then let off right away it has spring activated hydrolics. If you hold it down it sticks to anything. Makes rock climbing just unbelievable. I made it half way up the Wang building last night but I am having a hard time getting past all of the letters on the side of the building. I loose traction when I hit those. If I go on the side of the building I hit the balcony. lol

Does your driving skill increase just by driving around? I know it increases if you run over gang members and jump through the stunt rings, but are there any other ways?

No just driving around wont do it. The easiest way is drive over gang members and land huge jumps. I leveled up my driving quick in the Shai Gen district.

Well, i finished off Los Meurtos today and started running around the town looking for the agility orbs. I'm at 211 now. :D Jumping from building to building is so much fun! :D

Just wait until everything is at level 4. I havent been this addicted to a game in a long time. 👍 The funny part is that I do more rock climbing, building climbing, exploding, wheelie riding, and just messing around than actually playing the game. But thats the beauty of a great sandbox style game like this. Endless fun if you have an imagination and a great co-op partner. Oh yeah and a way to make videos. :)

Haha, I've been avoiding killing the gang bosses and kingpins (just killing the henchmen all over the city) and just having fun messing around in this game. :D Definately got my $60 out of this game. 👍

I'm all level 4 now (working on maxing out those skills) and looking to get some achievements...I have no idea how to get the car juggler achievement and also shotput. :(
