Had time for a half hour go, good fun!

1:54.080! Another one of those "brake in a straight line" racers, but really fun and grippy around the corners!



A fun looking lap from the outside, you can get the power down nice and early, and let her powerslide out of the slower corners, great fun!

Remember again chaps we end tomorrow, Friday night.
 
Oh man! All types of crazy things going on this week. Bill collector issues, and work being a major drain on my mental stamina. Plus the distraction known as ACC... And to top things off, I never got a notification for this Time Trial. :mad: I must have missed it and then it disappeared. I am going to run a few laps right now. I doubt I will be competitive, but I will do my best.

Alright... Ive managed to take the car for a spin on more than one occasion. But in the end, I could only squeeze a 1:59.990 out of the Maserati.

The times where I was pointed the right direction for the lap, I was checking in at the 2 minute mark. It took a lot to break into the 1:50's, so I am happy with the tiny bit of seat time I got.

The Maser was quite frustrating. To begin with I was locking the brakes way too often, then I got into a better rhythm for a good few laps and made time by being smoother and climbing curbs. In the end I was getting too greedy with the throttle and spinning... decided to call it a night :lol:

The tyre pressure app was telling me to put +2 psi on all wheels, so I might give it a try with that now we've finished :)

The Ferrari 812 Fastback At Mugello!! :D​

Conditions:

Time: 14:00h
Weather: Clear
Temp: 21C
Track Condition: Optimum

To be done in "Hot Lap" mode using the above conditions, with stock setup, factory settings and 0% Stability Control, although you can adjust tyre compound, fuel and brake pressure. Post an in game screenshot of your time for it to count. This TT will end next Tuesday night, the 2nd of October, good luck! ;)

Edit: Everyone, I tested the car at Zandvoort, and fun with no TC, so you can turn it off if you want as we've done in the past with road cars, that way more dangles and sideways stuff!!

I'm away from my PC right now (at work). I had a chance to throw the 812 at Mugello, and I've got my work cut out for me. I was behind Outspacer's time by 6 or 7 seconds on average. But the biggest problem was, Nvidia's control panel would not take screen shots, and the Steam overlay would not come up. I had to reboot the PC just to get both to work, but I didn't get the Personal Best screen.

Feeling that I can do much better than a 2:07, I'm going to put the boat, er... I mean Car through its paces after work. I have to say, I wasn't expecting the Ferrari to feel like an '84 Oldsmobile Delta 88 sedan. Geesh!

I honestly think the Mustang is a better performer than the 812. Even with the 4 cylinder and horse power deficiency, I think it would post faster laps. The 812 looses its footing in every turn. It's like the car was tuned by Brougham or something?

It sure as heck, feels like a nice cushy ride though. It'll turn heads when driven to the Restaurant, or cruising down the boulevard, but it doesn't feel like it belongs on a track. A drag strip... Maybe, but not a roadcourse.

It's a footballer's car man, for posing in, like most Supercars nowadays sadly.

This car doesn't like me. I don't know why but it just hates me. I must be too broke to even drive a simulated 812?

I'm going to keep at it. At least I got closer than my initial runs. I don't know what the heck happened then.

It's nothing personal, it just hates everybody! Plenty of trail-braking needed to get it to turn, too much and the rear steps out - easy to catch, but loses time. The worst are the left-right and right-left combos where there isn't time to set that up for the second corner, I still don't know a good way to tackle those other than patience!

Good times fellas so far! Tricky little thing, and feels very electronic like most new supercars. I'm hoping to get another go at it!
