Haha thanks Georges!!

I'm done @gregc, took me a week to catch you, and I reckon I wouldn't get much further anyway.

It wad a great target, and I only just nipped it! A cracking lap, especially so early in the week! 👍

That's me done too, no improvement here - first sector is killing me tonight. Found a tenth each in S2 & 3 but I'm half a second off in S1. This one has been a lot of fun though, and nice and close in the end too!

One final update on times:

Ahh, that's why I was slower! You lot were using the factory livery, I was in the privateer livery.
I probably had a slower car, without all the factory upgrades! No? Is that not how this works

Thought it finished today, I need to go back to school to read lol.

Well done all and Hamster for a superb time :)

Cheers mate, and yes I get the thing about reading.....I seem to like to get @nosoks time wrong each TT.....But what he doesn't know is, @Georgeagea told me to do it wrong.................. ;) Ooppppppppppsssss.....I've just let the Hamster out of the bag!

The new CRAP PCARS 2 TT is:

The Ford Escort Mk1 RS1600 Racing At Bannochbrae!!!!!!!

To be done in “Time Trial” mode using stock setup (if you have a saved setup for this combo, please return it to “default” before trying, as times with the “setup used” symbol will show in the in game timing screen, and won’t be counted!) You can use "loose" or "stable" setup, and driver aids if you wish! Post an in game screenshot of your time and post it here for it to count. This TT will end on Friday, the 14th of December, Good luck!! ;)

I have a lap time quicker than what the escort can do so I've got no way of proving the cars not tuned but I had a go, love the car and the track but didn't has much fun in the car on this track :).

2:36.817 with a good chunk left.

something that was explained to me in another group is that the stable setup on MOST cars invokes understeer so i been trying to stick to loose these days
Nice times boys, I'll be giving chase again but off to the BusDodgerRing this week, hopefully home on Turdsday so can get back to it

If my memory serves from WMD stable is aimed at pad users & beginners, and is indeed generally on the understeery side. I find in general that for the slower cars loose is better for me on the pad, but for anything aero dependent I prefer stable - it all gets just a bit too twitchy for me otherwise. For wheel users I'd expect it to be loose (or maybe OEM on road cars) all the way.

This is Boris and Bertha, a lovely young couple I bumped into in sector 2 I think.

Well I would have bumped into them but fortunately for them there was a fence in the way.

Anyway they offered me the loan of their vehicle, bless them - you can see it in the background. They said it would probably suit my driving style better as it was more suitable for off road use.

You meet the most wonderful and helpful of people in the countryside, don't you?

I always run loose setup in TT's, no matter the car as the turn in is a lot better and race cars generally run with lower down force, but will switch between loose and stable when in a race depending on car and track.
