I feel bad now...
I had to dismantle my rig completely due to Christmas decorations and the season in general as an arrangement with the ma'am.
I don't know for how much I will be out of the simracing world :(

Cons of having a very small house and your rig in the living room...

We had a small apartment just under 50 m2, me wife and 2 kids. I put my seat and wheel in our bedroom on my side so she couldn't say anything since she didn't have anything to do on that side 👍 :lol:

Finally had my tear up around bonny Bannochbrae, what funnnnnnnnnnn! :D

2:40.240 to start, it felt a decent lap too! Great enjoyment throwing the little thing around those bends, I think time to be found in the braking zones, as through the fast sweeps I was flat out! :D I hope to have another go on Friday before we end.

One question...

I drive my car daily and often reach speeds above 130.. and 150kn/h (i should not say this...) on a normal road or highway... and...

The feeling of the speed is way way under what you feel on PC2 when I reach speeds like that with this (1600 cm3 Escort); as we know in most of this TT the speed of the car is more or less in this range (hardly much more) ..

So I ask ... don´t you think that PC2 real speed feeling is... exagerated?? If it pretends to be a simulation... then why does it transmits to the players (users) a so unreal feeling?? (when I´m on 130 to 150 km/h) on the Escort the real feeling is like I´m way above 200km/h ... WAY ABOVE!!!!! :D:crazy::crazy::crazy:

Or it´s just me??? Or.... should a FOV change allow the speed feeling to be more real?? Or then. .it´s just an exagerated way from the game developers to induce some more adrenaline into the players???


If so.... honestly... I prefer the real feeling.. and the thrill of driving a car that achieves more than 200 or 300 km/h... its ok and fine... but only when i drive one of those in the game... And I prefer for cars like this. .the real feeling and the real adrenaline.. not one injected with steroids...

FOV makes a huge difference to sense of speed. I can't rearrange my room enough to get even close to correct FOV with a screen, but in VR it's perfect obviously - it's the main thing that makes it hard for me to switch between VR and screen.

It was a good combo for sure and I love that track although I only drove it like twice!

To be done in “Time Trial” mode using stock setup (if you have a saved setup for this combo, please return it to “default” before trying, as times with the “setup used” symbol will show in the in game timing screen, and won’t be counted!) You can use "loose" or "stable" setup, and driver aids if you wish! Post an in game screenshot of your time and post it here for it to count. This TT will end on Friday, the 4th of January, 2019! Good luck!! ;)

And I hope you all have a great Xmas, and a very happy New Year! I'm going to be a little busy over the festive period, but I'll check in here when I can! Have fun fellas!

Should be interesting - I love the M1, but I don't think I've ever turned a single lap at Zhuhai before...
