Ended rally!

I am satisfied to be on arrival, objective reaches! Very difficult rally for me, three outing of road and 15 seconds of penalty, one flat and of bad setup, I run slowly not to break too much the car and I am happy to bring Subaru on arrival! đź‘Ť

"It's funny how rally racing works: as a team we've finished with the best result of the season in a rally that I, as a driver, am the least comfortable with. Credit to my team to once again supplying me with a capable car. I think in this event they didn't have to work as hard in the service areas as I was very cautious throughout, as I'm still suffering body-soreness from the big accident in Germany last time out. Overall, I'm satisfied with the result. I surpassed expectation, for sure. Now it's back to meetings with the team to discuss the best way to navigate the last rally of the season in Wales. We'll see you all then."

Oh and as promised, my stage win, proving that I'm not useless, just bad luck.
 
Here we are at the end of event 5 with just one more to complete. Well done once more to GTP_Manuelos on a commanding win and taking control of the championship. I think he has won the season as he basically only needs to finish Wales at a slower pace and he has won the season!

The next problem I have is how to sort out tied scores at the end of the season. Any suggestions?
 
With just a week left on this season I need to sort out the next one. We will be using the 2010 cars but does anyone have any changes to the format or rules? I'm open to any thoughts.

Imy just throwing this out there but, can you set like a stage restart limit? Like we only have say 2 restarts for the whole rally? If not that's fine, might save some people who don't finish the rally.

I think that the restart would not be very realistic no? :confused:

It would be cool if the game allowed you to continue on the stage after you retire with a 5 minute penalty on the leaders time (like Rally-2 in WRC). But within the current league settings there is nothing which can be done.

Amen to that!!

Did a mock rally for the upcoming Wales event. Raced against Master AI and came in second. Considering that the top five guys are all about seconds faster than master AI on the long stages, it seems I have a lot of practice I need to get in. Again, I really like the tough format...with Wales obviously being the pinnacle...if you think the first four stages are tough...buckle-up 'cause you've gotta do 'em again! Awesome!!

Is there a way to create an event with only a single power stage? Run it for 24 hours. Whomever wins gets three point, two for second and a point for third.

And this coming from someone who had a terrible season with the Group A - with two DNFs - that's not rally. My humble opinion, anyway.
And think of the top guys - their consistency is pretty impressive and re-starts would undermine that. Also, imagine if the likes of @Manuelos or @Eyeseeh50 had re-starts? We'd never catch them. They too can crash...

Of course, use the honor system and the only people who can compete are those whom a tie would be affecting, which goes without saying...but I said it anyway :dopey:

Definitely not going to slow down just to secure the championship ;)
I'll probably run the rally tomorrow.

Unfortunately restarts are on or off only and my idea was to run the events as close to real life as is possible in the game.

I like the idea of Rally - 2, I could set up a private lobby to do this and if you crash out of an event in the main championship you can request to do rally 2. As I don't have time to look after two lobbies, this idea may have to wait.
 
Miserable rally of Wales. Made al lot of mistakes in the first 4-5 stages. From then on it went slightly better, untill diving into the trees again near the end of the power stage. Picked the subaru this time.

Bad luck but somehow I think you will have won the championship as you are 11 points clear of me.
