CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

Rallycross didn't go well at all. Qualified well, but was surprised in the Semi-Final that it was only 2 laps, which screwed up my strategy. I thought I'd let them all smash each other into the first chicane and catch them...but 1 lap wasn't enough time, as I didn't foresee having to do a Joker Lap...
 
Finland is such an awesome rally for it's ridiculous speed. That said, there was an incident on every stage for me, with the worst coming in the PS. A shame as I drove well...except for the mistakes ;-)
 
Just done the Swedish Rally which I found immensely fun. Only the second time I drove at Sweden, the first time in a modern car, and while I made a lot of mistakes, I think I set some decent times. Stage 4 was my best run where I was 4 second behind the current fastest time.

I almost didn't make it through the Rallycross because of the AI trying to give me time penalties but I just about made it to the final and won it with a 1:23.833
 
Joined the Rallycross League halfway in, love those 1600 cars!

Its probably going to be after the new year before we do the next full season and as we have already recently done the WRC cars this class probably wont be used. Sorry.
You could always setup your own league and invite a few of us, Im sure you will get a few people that will take part.

Okay. Then I start with a new league only for WRC 2010`s class. All assists allowed. For sure I will drive in this league in the next time. This is only where I can drive my favourite class. Probably there will be included the Powerstage for the fifth fastest driver (like next year in the real WRC) at the last stage.
Available cars are the VW and the Hyundai.
Hope to welcome a few members and drivers. I would start if we have 10-15 members. :)

Point system like in the real WRC (25,18,15,12,10......)

Must admit I made a bit of a mistake setting the events to only 2 laps for the semi's and finals. Sorry everyone.

For next season it might be an idea to make it final only since that is the only time which counts for leaderboards, would make the league more interesting for those who don't have the pace to be winning heats imo.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea.
 
Gentlemen - my brother-in-law is in hospital and not doing well. As such, I've been spending a lot of time visiting or trying to help my sister get her kids around and whatnot. I will try and complete the Swedish Rally, but if I cannot know that I'm not abandoning the league...I just might be out for a while.
Also, if you guys are doing a Rallycross event this weekend, and I'm on...I would like to race...but again, don't feel slighted if I'm not on. I will try to be but I make no promises.

Guys, I'm gonna be absent for a while. The kids get out of school for summer next week and between my own DiRT Rally League and the F1 and Project CARS leagues I race in I'm not going to have time to continue in CRAP for now. Thanks for the fun thus far. Maybe see you guys again in March. :gtpflag:

Still will be hosting a rallycross online event @ 7pm(GMT) this Sunday the 4th December, all welcome.

OK I am going to postpone the Rallycross event until after the holiday season and try and promote it a bit more to ensure a full grid.

Ok rally Sweden for me. Had 1 spin where I had to reverse and lost +/-10" and another spin where I lost 3-4". Only 1" down on @TRGTspecialist in the final standings :irked:

Looks like I'm a lucky boy, I was scrappy the whole rally. Great effort to pull back 20s on me in the final stage though! 👍

Good news everyone, not that it matters anymore, but my manager didn't realise how many presses would be running tomorrow so I am not needed tomorrow
 
I'm on a little road trip today with gf. If things go well I'm driving home in a 2010 Subaru Impreza so there might be some "real rallying" soon with winter and snow fast approaching ;)
And in the next few days I'll be back online too! :D
 
Didn't really enjoy Sweden, it felt like I was always 5 seconds behind the quickest time regardless of how well I drove on each stage. Looks like barring any major disasters in Monte Carlo I should hang on to 2nd place ahead of Manuelos which would be great!
