What wheel do you have HP?

You need to get it set up as good as possible. That means possibly changing the default controller settings for that wheel and tweaking FFB settings too.

Did you press the PS button after you'd logged in to the PS4 with the regular controller?

Then load the game. You need to launch the game with wheel rather than the DS4.

Got it sorted, needed to be in PC mode by using a silly combination of buttons... I'm good to rock n roll now.

You're all registered as CRAP pCARS members. That may be because you've joined us for previous endurance races in Project Cars or you are a regular. This is to let you all know I have asked for all of our club's PSN account ID's to be added to the Android and Windows app Crew Chief (for Project Cars). The app is a spotter and race engineer all rolled into 1. It's hugely helpful when racing either online or offline.

What that means is that those of us who use the app now or in the future will benefit from the Crew Chief engineer using our own PSN names when racing each other. Mr Belowski (the app developer) will record the audio for our names. Some involving names and numbers may just use the letters. Eg "Noob2016" get's called "Noob" the app. The app will tell you things like Noob has just recorded the fastest lap (or "JohnSchoonsBeard has recorded the slowest").

To get the android app to work you have to download the following file containing sound files to your device. Simply clicking on the link below should download it to your download folder in Android. I understand people using the app on PC should get the sound files loaded automatically.

I've spoken to the developer and he said he'll do everyone (wow, just wow). Is there anyone else we regularly (or ocassionally race) who we would benefit from adding?

@knukken may well be in there already as should @lancashirelad @lancashire lad PSN:storm--trooper- so they should crop up in conversation with crew chief.

If you ask him "who is in (the position eg 8th)" then the name should be read out. I don't think the Android app allows you to ask "where is knukken" though.

Like a new brand of batteries, EverLaggy, not EverReady! ;) But i have noticed since the maintenence on PSN on Wednesday, the connection has been stronger, and the Party chat audio and quality has improved! :) All we need now is 16 player party chats...........................Please!

Very off topic but anyone from here still run anything on GT6? Debating whether or not to get back into it.

Not me. I see no reason to drive it again. I tried it a few times after Project Cars launched and also after the course creator came out and the handling was so poor in comparison to Project Cars that I won't bother using the wheel again. Maybe I'll go and do some GT6 comparison photography when GT Sport comes out.

Regarding crew chief app: I am quite keen to try it but I don't have good WiFi where I have my ps4 set up in the garage. Might have to fix that first.

Also how do I find organized crap races on pcars? That is how can I tell the difference between private lobbies and public?
