Thanks to everyone who turned up to race, really enjoyed it despite the game crashing after 29 of 33 laps. i'll post results 1st thing tomorrow.

PS network has been a bit buggy lately, I am seeing the same thing.

Yeah fellas a real shame, my stratagy was just coming together too lol!!! And then on lap 19, i got a disconnect....A painus in the anus!! Anyway see you tonight for the Beemers!!!

Lobby opens at 6 but quali will start at half 6, the actual race won't start till maybe 6:45, and there is 4 races so it will go on for a good few hours, there are 4 races so come anytime if u can't make the first race

That was happening with me too. Seems to have redeemed itself now. But I had another problem. Wheel stand decided to decline twice on me tonight. First one was fatal. Was trying to tighten it and missed my braking point. o_O. Car broke. lol Second time not so bad but cost me a place on my last race. All in all was a good night though. Them beemers are ace.
Took some tinkering with but managed to tame the tail end so it didnt wiggle like a poodle on speed.

Not a good start, first race, qualifying skipped halfway through, then my PS4 crashed hard (had to switch it off at the wall)
A lot of disconnects throughout the night also.

Now the good bits - Great night of close, clean racing. The 320TC was a great car to drive and I really enjoyed throwing it into the corners.

Why don't you discount the double points. Still use the results for the last race but with the same points system as the other races. I think that's the fairest system.

Edit: having said that, those were the rules in place at the start. You shouldn't change the rules afterwards just so you don't win @Spooky Wooky. Don't spill the bubbly.

Maybe run the same points for all races in the future? I suppose if a race is twice the length then double points would be justified though.

Had to cut racing short last night unexpectdly during quali for second race

Everyone who joined are winners. I agree with you woky, the car was great when you have it tuned properly. Took me a few races to get it sorted. Made a silly error using someone else's tune.Was horrendous. lol I got 3rd in my last race but it must have been an extra race from the races above. Going to watch some replays. How do we upload races BTW? Im a noob? =)

I hope we can do this again soon @Spooky Wooky with the BMW, maybe a BTCC type championship using all the british tracks, with Spa included as final round with pitstops, that would be great! Hope i have no more problems with PSN as i missed out on some good racing last night.....

Thanks for your advice @JohnScoonsBeard, I think awarding 1x points for the last race is the fairest way actually. We were saying before the race that it was kind of irrelevant as there were only 4 of us left. I hadn't added up the points from all the other races (deliberately so everyone tried their hardest for every race) so I didn't realise how close it was.
Double points was really my way of getting people who were mid/bottom of the table to stay for all races - well that didn't work!

@HammyMansell - The next mini championship I'll be doing is the C-class DTM cars, they're super quick and surprisingly forgiving. That doesn't mean someone else can't arrange some 320TC races. I agree though, it would be nice if we had a few Touring Cars to race against each other. I'm secretly hoping for some cars from the Aussie V8 Supercars series.
