No, you don't understand, 2 wheels good 4 wheels bad.
No, you don't understand, 2 wheels good 4 wheels bad.
Do you see that i agree with you in principal?
Great, no more need to carry on then.
Someone start a new thread about this topic bring it there.

I just hope we don't have this after every race. I don't think anyone is a cheater here. People are going to stray over the white lines accidentally sometimes. Just race your own race and have fun. It's just a game and there's no prizes for the winner.
Exactly @Football67611, mountains out of molehills.....
Exactly Spooky! Because also, we could talk about rule 3 of CRAP too, 3. Rage quitting the lobby is prohibited. I seem to remember you did this one evening 2 weeks ago, because, and i quote "You was fed up of driving in the dark and crashing" It appears you have your own take on other rules too! We all have bad races, but we continue and fight on, not give up like this example. Again, and the last time, i agree with you about the kerbs, its just that it´s hard to police, and not do it without driving fast, at Zolder. Let´s leaving there now buddy!![]()
No, let's not leave it there if you want to bring other stuff into it. I apologised for that, should I apologise again, because I haven't seen you say sorry for breaking the rules every lap. Also, do you remember the time I commented on your over-aggressive driving? Other people in the chat had already commented on your behaviour that same night.
*edit* rule 2 - last time we raced in the GT3 cars @ Outlon you came back on the track straight in front of me, leaving me no choice but to rear end you, so I'll have an apology please.
*edit* rule 4 - racing @ Road America you tried overtaking on the grass. Apology please.
*edit* rule 9 - lost count of the number of dive bombs I've seen you do. I don't think we have enough time for all the apologies you need to make for this.
I had a lot of fun that race with close racing and lots of action. It was a fun race, good driving, good car and good drivers. I would definately do it again! As for track boundaries, I might have cut a corner or 2, but look at the vid I just uploaded. It looks like we agree on track edges.
Did you enjoy the race? Yes? Thought soLooking forwad to next time!
More importantly, what racing is on tonight, f1 put me in the mood for an azure![]()
Regarding Zolder I've done some testing (see below)
Regarding the bickering that took place, please see the post before my CRAP COMMANDMENTS post.
I'm not going to point the finger at our internet warriorsbut I will say that they were all a bit at fault to some degree although all made some good points. How's that for diplomatic fudging?
Please leave it in the playground next time CRAPpers. We're here to enjoy ourselves.
Important.
Show each other respect on track and off it.
No over-aggressive driving.
No constant corner cutting.
Read and learn the Commandments. There could be a test.....anytime.
Onto my testing. The video below shows that chicane at Zolder mostly in Time Trial mode with examples of where the game penalised me. It then finishes with an example from a race which highlights that penalties for that corner are not right for racing. We need to regulate ourselves regardless of whether penalties and flags are on. The valid examples in the video are what we need to aim for and the invalid ones are what we should try our best to avoid. Errors occur but if you pass someone outside of those boundaries give up the advantage and try again.
I think the 2nd example in particular shows what is just about acceptable.
The AI cars drive the correct way through that corner. So can we.
We won't penalise people as that is just a faff to police and is embarrassing for everyone involved in the group. However, to avoid this we all need to be using the same rules. We'll go with the FIA rulebook on this one.
"2015 F1 Sporting Regulations - Published on 26.02.15...
...20.2 Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not.
A driver will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with the track..."
That doesn't mean you can't use kerbs, just that part of the car must be in contact with the track/white line. Try and get it right most of the time and we're fine. If you're struggling to avoid cutting the chicanes/corners you're going too fast. Brake earlier or harder.
See you Wednesday if not earlier.
TBH I've been toying with the idea of having penaltys off when I'm hosting. Now that the rules have been clarified there shouldn't be any excuses.
Sometimes the game gets it wrong when you run wide or it gives you a penalty because you've been trying to avoid an accident that wasn't your fault. It can be frustrating and ruin your race.
If you cut and gain an advantage then give that advantage back even if it means you loose out. Your the one who made the mistake. We can regulate ourselves, we shouldn't need the game to do it for us.
Again i agree with you @JohnScoonsBeard, and yes the second, and forth examples are spot on in how to take the chicane....Some of the later examples, i have never tried or done intentionally before, never will i! lol!!
Again in the video i put up on Friday, penalties were on, as i got a penalty on the 5th lap there, as i missed my braking point and arrived way too fast as you can see in the video. Therefore it seems more than anything, SMS/WMD have to adjust the limits (and liberties with some cars in the game) that us players can take at the first chicane. But if/until that comes to pass, we'll have to monitor and control it ourselves of course, although in some ways it's still difficult to police that, particularly in the BMWs. Good work mate!
Spot on.
If anyone's using cockpit view it's possible to raise the seat to allow a better view of the front of the car and it's position in relation to the track.
I will post that video on the official forum. It's a difficult thing to get spot and they have made big improvements in how it works.
I've made a slight amendment to the session times for Wednesday's race to avoid a new bug where if no practice session is set then the qualifying session is treated as a practice and the grid gets randomised.
Practice: 30 mins.
Followed by 1 lap race to allow settings reset.
New event except as below to ensure the race lasts from approximately dawn 'til dusk.
Practice: 5 mins (set to avoid the randomised grid bug if no practise session used)
Qualifying: 10 mins
Laps: 45
