I dunno how to sign up lol. Looking forward to the CLEVELAND STEAMER racing xD. @admoo great championship shame PSN became a member of crap although Formula B not my strong suit ;) Apologies all, the brother decided a few beers were in order last night. This makes for a bad streamer/party chat member. Full focus and attention this eve fine sirs we'll have a hot pocket time while I porky pig it ha ha.

I will try being around for the late races but it will depend on when my wife goes to bed. I fancied having a go in the demolition derby. I reckon you could do a couple of them. After the full damage race maybe you fancy trying one with visual damage only which obviously would be a full no holds barred race with ramming encouraged.

@Football67611 are you respecting track limits or not? I imagine not respecting could be fun at Monza, Imola and Zolder to name but 3. Brands Hatch GP? I suspect there's an ocassional dirty mini series in the making there..... These sort of things can be fun when everyone is prepared for it.

i am mostly in the chat with dan, ace, hammy, sad, spooky and footbal, hope there is room in the chat when i get home :scared:

most of the time track limits are on in our lobby,.,.. i think admoo hosts most of the time without limits.

i am cool with both options though :eek:



that dirty driving night must include dubai,... the **** you can skip in that track is unbelievable :dunce::lol:

What's causing all the lagging, seems to be happening more often than not lately, is it psn, or the user? Maybe streaming affects it, whatever it is, it spoils the game immensely.

I was only watching @DropBuckets/sadshooter's feed but the lagging seemed to be coming from 2 cars in particular (I couldn't see the names). In a full room (which we've been having more of recently) an internet connection that suffers from inconsistent ping results or is nearing the upload bandwidth speed limit will struggle due to the extra data being uploaded from that user's connection to each driver in the room. Sadshooter's feed should only really cause him to lag. If he was lagging then streaming would have an impact. I couldn't tell as obviously I was watching his feed.

If every driver is lagging then that is more likely the network. It badly impacts cars nearby as the lagging cars blast through other cars in the vicinity as the lagging car position data is lost temporarily. When new position comes through a second or two later the car suddenly speeds over to that position knocking anything in the way out of the way. The cars on the end of this are damaged or pushed aside but the lagging car sees nothing wrong because they don't experience their own lag so don't get damage. It sounds like @Gavin Vickers suffered the consequences of that last night. No-one actually drove him off but the lag caused the game to do so. If you're often lagging then see if there's any advice about how to improve your ping results or improve router performance.

PSN does seem to be struggling at times but in full or close to full rooms then the increased upload requirement per user is still the most likely cause. Let's all try and make sure we do as much as we can to maximise the fun.

I have to say in CRAP rooms of more than 8 can everyone PLEASE set the party chat to PRIORITISE GAME. It's much more inclusive for all players. Set device audio to chat only and you should still be able to modify the volumes between game and chat on headset. In the race I did it was so much more fun once you all came back out of the party. Please use the admittedly lower quality game priority setting when more than 8 are in the room. @Elitekilla29 may not have a Mic but it can still help hugely to be able to hear everyone else.

This demo derby sounds like great fun, i remember doing a lot on GT in the shuffle races it made a dull game very fun :lol:

Has anyone got out planed for Monday the 9th? if not could i host some crash bang wollop what a video :D

I've added you to post 1 zak. I also did a bit of GT5 racing in dirty rooms and in my experience the dirty racing will be better with damage off or visual only and no penalties. That allows everyone to stay in the race and carry on bashing.

I did struggle last night.
Tho gladly the damage wasn't on.
If I host I always stream also. Only been dodgy this Wednesday AND Thursday. Hope they sort servers or whatever it is
