that is called the hold R1 button down and get an ultra nitrous boost...needless to say all the cars get it when you hold down that button...capable of speeds around 35000 MPH if you can break through on seattle...then your car goes nuts by either freezing the game or spinning with a black HUD screen...both make the car go to 999,999 miles

They are. they're connected at the bottom of the wheel, and probably work like any other hub-less wheel. Anyways, this isn't the place to discuss it.....

lol, there must be quite some wind in that one race , and I dont think that was a nitrous boost, but rather a game speed up cheat of some sort, because if you have ultra nitrous you would just sit there burning up your tires by spinning them from all the power, and how would the AI use nitrous anyways. And they started going in reverse at the begging, so I doubt that.
