Doog
All hell breaks loose in Doogeria!

The Prime Minister was released from the hospital in much better condition and is now in private care, as well as surrounded by friends and family at his estate. He is expected to make a full recovery within the next month. However, the Prime Minister has had something else to worry about today; the communists.
You could feel the tension in the air today as Doogerians around the nation turned in their votes at the polling stations. Nobody spoke much, and the entire population had been seized with anxiety and worry. At 5 PM, the Head Justice came up to the top of the steps of the Parliament Building and revealed the results for the election. For the 5 seconds it took to say that name, the entire country went silent. Not even a cricket stirred. Prime Minister Doog fell to his knees in despair in front of his television; the whole family gave sighs of worry. Kim Jong un had one by 3 votes.

My current troop count in South Korea is now 800k. 5 FAST Teams and 2k ABS Soldiers are also stationed here. 500 F35 Lightnings and 100 AC 130's are also here. Various naval ships are also docked in my controlled bays. I will rebel until the very last soldier. South Korea will not fall.

Looks like Korean War II is brewing.

Siberia has been relatively quiet recently, but there are things going on.

Globestomper submarine production is in full swing, with seven submarines already complete and a further 23 on the way. Two of the completed seven have been sent to traverse the worlds' oceans and observe other countries and shipping lanes, while the remaining five have been placed in outlying northern patrol duty.

Troop stats:

Sea: 80. We have an extensive island-based defensive navy.
Land: 90. While we lack much of the state-of-the-art technology other armies have, we compensate in numbers and masterful knowledge and use of the terrain and harsh weather conditions.
Air: 70. Our air force is primarily used to provide support to the ground troops; air-to-air capability is limited but air-to-ground is among the best in the world.

To that end, the Siberian Advanced Research Department has begun development on a new helicopter, dubbed the Fireblade. (based on this and this, for anyone who cares) This advanced gunship is designed to primarily provide close air support to ground troops as quickly as possible, and as such is equipped with several air-to-ground guided missiles, a healthy amount of air-to-air guided missiles, twin .50-caliber cannons, and a substantial (twice the capacity of an AH-64 Apache) loadout of unguided rockets. Its party piece, which enables it to deliver air support nearly as quickly as a jet fighter, as well as competently dogfight, is twin rear-mounted jet boosters, which when activated can propel the helicopter to the edge of the sound barrier. Future versions will be able to break the sound barrier, but the technology is not possessed as of yet to make supersonic helicopters feasible. Cost of development: $5 billion. The first prototypes will begin testing in three months, and pending successful tests the Fireblade will start production in six.

We also spend $2 billion to gain 200,000 more troops. 50,000 are sent to the air force and 150,000 are sent to the army.

Total troop count:

1,400,000 land
500,000 sea
800,000 air

Budget: $32 billion.

Foxes have been launched for reliability runs, and had to fly from Athens Airfield to the North Pole and back. The tests have been successful, and the Foxes are soon to be mass produced later on, but there only needs to be 3,000, currently there are 600.

Not my photo - A photo taken from the testing from another Fox.

A prototype jet has been seen in the skies, it is confirmed by Boeing to be fully ready for combat at around 2023. Boeing have also confirmed it cost about 5,000,000,000 to research and develop. It will take time to mass produce and test, do not expect it for another 6 years. They will be producing 500 of these by mid 2023. Ready for combat in late 2023. Here's a photo of it:

falken01.jpg

This one was a prototype, mainly for testing its flight capabilities. Weapons and such will be researched, and so will the advanced G suits needed for this jet.

Total budget - 41 billion

Arkbird - Very close to completion, it is fitted and ready, but it needs its weapons installed and filled with plenty of fuel for a 6 month run.

Unidentified project - To be finished in 2019, there are two of them, and the frames look absolutely massive. This one is resource heavy, and the 5,000,000,000 it takes to build one was enough, but a second one doubled it to 10,000,000,000, the government claims it will "revolutionize the skies, and give us maneuverability that the sea never allowed us."

Original specs for the military, but I guess you can only have 7.5 million of them. So take away as many from a country as you want to make it favorable for you. :sly:

South Korean Military: 8,691,500
North Korean Military: 9,495,000
Doogerian Military: 2,750,000
Total Military Size: 20,936,500

Sure! I don't remember what textiles are at the moment :dunce:.
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." 💡

Why is everyone trading with me?
It's like a point of the game. You know, this game? The game you're attempting to play?

Also, we try and get North Carolina.

locoman88
Also, I would like to claim Alaska.
With what? Gummi bears? You have to send troops to claim land. Do you pay any attention to what you're doing? Even I know all this and I'm not even playing...

Oh, and your GDP per capita is wrong, and your troop deployment doesn't add up.

On top of that, north carolina is mine. Stop spaming and read the OP.

On other news, the USS Rangers are ready to aid whichever side is deemed needed. Mr. Anderson is confused by the situation, but mainly because he got boozed up after the Steelers finally won the Super Bowl again.

*landing planet-killing spacecraft.

Take me to your leader.

Watch out boys we got a badass over here. No seriously though, if your not in the game, please don't post unless it's importent. Kthnxbai.

I would like to build an airstrip on Victoria Island (Russia) and I will peacefully annex Novaya Zemlya or if they don't accept, then I will send in an attack force to conquer it.

New Jahgeeia would like an estimate at the cost of building a bridge across the Matochkin Strait

EDIT: Huge discovery, we have found some left over Russian Nuclear Project notes and it has moved us years ahead in the Nuclear Arms Race

Maybe like 500 Million. Oh and by how many years? Don't cheat now...

We have developed a working 1 Kiloton weapon which is essentially a tank warhead that is nuclear (For comparison, the Hiroshima bomb was 15 Kilotons)

We hope to have the bridge done before the end of the year

I advise making up a special branch. I can train 200k and make a Marine Corp or something.

Good idea, we are indeed lacking of a marine corp. Siberia has never needed a special branch, but should anyone invade it would be good to have. We will pull 200,000 of our best men from the ranks of the Siberian Army to train and return as the first Siberian Marines.

Won't be as good as our Rangers but they will be fine ;)

The Arkbird has been finally launched. It will be used for gathering data in low orbit and if necessary, used for military purposes as well.

AC5Arkbird.jpg

The people of the Valentine Province rejoiced at the Athens Airfield, as it was a successful launch from the Skyramp. It can last up to nine months in low orbit, before it descends into the atmosphere to be refueled by two tanker aircraft. If it needs resupplying in weaponry, it will land back into Athens Airfield and be launched again via Skyramp.

The New England 500 is back, and better than ever.

Same cars, (most of the) same drivers, better racing.

After the deaths and injuries of multiple drivers last year, safety restraints and the HANS device are mandatory. In order to check that the driver is using the HANS device and other basic safety features, a camera will be mounted on the dashboard of the car. Given the driver hasn't already been using the safety restraints, an official will interrupt his communication with his spotters and crew chiefs to tell the driver to use them. Failure to comply will result in an automatic disqualification.

Like before, this race will use the Car of Tomorrow used by NASCAR before that organization collapsed:

628x471.jpg

Some drivers are replacing their counterparts that had perished or retired. Norman Schultz had retired say that, "Racing has become too dangerous." despite all of the safety additions. His replacement is Jordan Romano, a two-time dirt track champion. Others include Jorge Moss and the previously unknown Johnny B. Goodman.

Now, foreign nations can enter up to three drivers to participate in this legendary event. President of the New England Stock Car Racing Association Ike Elton said, "The lack of drivers last year was almost entirely due to the lack of foreign drivers. Had three foreign drivers per-country entered, we probably would have been able to fill the 36 car grid."

Another change is that any number of drivers are allowed to participate. It may be 20, it may be 30, we won't know until the race starts. The grid rule was changed following the lack of drivers in last year's event.

After being elected to office, Kim Jong un has been taking advantage of being in charge of a large nation. First and foremost, he's used North Korea's research on nuclear weapons to speed up development on nuclear weapons for Doogeria, and expects to have them finished by next year, at a cost of 1 billion. He has also sent 15,000 air units to the Soviet Siberia to survey the land and do research for him. It is unknown what his intentions are as of yet.
Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister Doog has sent out a distress call to all major nations asking for their military help in removing Kim Jong un from office.
