Extra Information: The Soviet Republic of Siberia is not a Communist nation. We just decided that Soviet is pretty much the coolest word of all time, so we like to be called Soviets (or Siberians) instead of Russians, but that works too. Rising as a recognized world power from the frozen tundras of Siberia, the SRS is in fact a peaceful nation, desiring not to enter armed conflicts and only using its sizeable, highly trained military to annex territories and for self defense. The one advantage the harsh weather allows is that even the most formidable land troops falter and fail during the Russian winter, which has gotten even worse since the war and is an impenetrable barrier for non-natives.

Recognized internationally mainly for its advanced developing space program, the SRS is a primarily technology-driven nation that strives to become a world culture center in spite of its harsh weather conditions. Like the Soviet Union before it, Siberia (another proper noun to acceptable to refer to the SRS) is heavily space-driven (as well as retaining an acute interest in large explosives (despite its peaceful intentions)), and although it will not have manned space flight for at least ten years, it has the most advanced satellites in orbit around the Earth since the world's satellite network was destroyed during the war.
