I got bored and decided to do some test laps with the 106 S16 compared to the 905B Evo 1 BIS LM and thought I'd post my results. The 905 time was difficult since I had to get used to the physics of Gran Turismo 4 since it had been so long, but this is what I got~

Both cars were using Stock Tires, no assists and Manual transmission. Ofcourse, times would differ since like the other missions, Assists are forced on, but it still should give a general idea.

mgvKVDo.png

As you can see, I managed a 3:15.928 with the 905 vs. a 5:19.467 with the 106. Yes, I really was going all out as much as possible with the 106, and that's what the result was. So if you've got a good enough skill, the 905 could wait a full 2 minutes and it could still be pulled off. Especially considering that you'd have the ability to draft off of the other Peugeots to get the car above it's top speed average of just over 220 MPH, which is almost 100 MPH faster than I could get with the 106 on the Mulsanne straight.

@BloodyThunderX, good job on that bit of research. I was toying with the idea of doing the same myself.

But you have to understand that people just pull numbers out of thin air when making up these so-called races.

And yet another championship by me.

..err, why? You do realize that a lot of those prize cars don't even appear in GT4, right?

Seems this thread has turned into a "how ridiculous a series can we come up with?" thing.
