Well, can you create a graph on the computer? If you can how? I need to make graphs like the TI-83 graphing calculator.

I want to be able to type in the equation and have a program graph it for me. Is that possible? Any programs out there that is able to do that?

For example:

I want to graph:

Y= X² + 5
Y= X² - 3
Y= -X + 5
Y= |X| - 5
Y= |X+3| - 2

etc....

Thanks for all the help.

AH= Academic Honors.

I'll try yours Skip, because the other one dosen't work or I don't know how to work it. I tried fiddling around with it. Didn't work.

Also I need to make a graph and print it out.

Well, I dont recall if that will print....but you can always just do a "Print Screen" screen capture and paste it into Word.

Because I don't feel like graphing 35 different equation freehanded.

Use Excel. In column A put your X scale. Then, in column B put the equation, substituting "A" for "X". Then create a line chart.

I have a program (shareware) which will plot any 2d or 3d graph your heart desires, send me a PM if you want the link.
