Heres my site www.crg.2ya.com, this is my Third attempt and am still improving it. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)

CRG, Stands for Computer Racing Games, Its a site dedicated to GT and NFSU and other Racing Games. The site is based around the forums so it makes it easier to update and complete pages. It also allows the users to change styles if they don't like it.

First bit of feedback - this is against the Acceptable Use Policy.

Shove it in your signature - as you have done - by all means though.

I probably shouldn't comment, as stated above this is against the AUP and this thread will probably be locked...but shouldn't you do something about the banner that says

This file is not intended to be viewed directly using a web browser. To create a viewable file, use the Preview in Browser or Publish to Yahoo! Web Hosting commands from within Yahoo! SiteBuilder.

And who told you that a pillar box red background was a good idea? All the links have this slidey red wash come across...

It isn't against the AUP as long as he is asking for ways to improve his website (which he is). However, it is in the wrong forum. He isn't exactly advertising anything.

For starters, theres a huge line of text at the top of each page saying that those pages need to be published.

Second, the blue text/links on a grey background are impossible to read and are rather hard on the eyes. Same goes for the red/blue combo on your content pages. You might consider picking a standard color scheme and using it for all of your pages.

That's all I've got for now. I haven't really looked at the source code.

"Come to the Pepsi website and tell us how to improve it!"*

*Simulation: May not have any basis in reality

I've re-designed it for now. I'm still thinking of content for the index and have got alot of pages to re-do in the new design.
Theres no red X's
Theres no page transition effects. 👍
Anymore feedback would be appreciated
cheers.

P.S Sorry, never noticed this section.

Its looking much better now, thats a clean look.

I see you have been searching the web and found a decent JScript menu. One thing about that, you might want to try some no script tags in case people have JavaScript disabled in their browser. At the moment you have no alternative.

On the images:

The shaded bar across the top does not need to be 800px wide. You can make it 1px wide and it will spread across, looking the same. This will reduce the file size by x800.

The same goes for the two panels either side. They are 500px long, you just need to crop a whole row of tiles and then map that in the vertical, again reducing the file size. Also I think the Images you use for the Menu..Home|Forum|GT etc are just a little too big...are you displaying at higher than 1024x768 res?

You just need to finish the rest now, as when you click on the links, it goes from your nice clean look to a ghastly red purple combo:)
