CSP Tuning Help

Hi guys,

I am finishing up my racing rig and need your help in tuning my CSPs. I have a brand new tuning kit, but couldn't find any post that provides the optimum settings. My pedals are reverse mounted, but I am sure it doesn't make any difference in this case.

So it doesn't generate a confusion, I know how to disassemble the pedals and replace all the parts and I know there is a video guide. I need to find the best tune that is as close as possible to the real car experience.

Caz, thanks for the link, but I am aware of that thread and mentioned in my post. There are six pages and many opinions, but there is no definite answer to my question. The OP clearly explains everything and provides in-depth review, however there is no statement that the settings he uses are the most optimal or popular. I was hoping that someone who tested multiple settings and found the best among those will chime in with clear instructions, which will save me a great amount of time.
 
If your CSPs are relatively new you will not need the brass bushings as they are already installed. (Older versions had plastic bushings, colored white).

The tuning kit also includes steel axles for the Brake, Clutch and Accelerator (Older versions had axles made of brass).

You will probably only need to use two of the included springs, the following substitutions seem to be popular:

Replace the accelerator spring on CSPs with the weakest clutch spring from kit.
Replace the clutch spring on CSPs with the strongest clutch spring from kit.

For stiffer brake some people replace the existing brake foam on CSPs with the stiffest one from the kit, and substitute the kit's 30MM metal bar for the one that comes installed on CSPs.

...but this comes down to personal preference, if you do replace the foam, use the included lubricant to generously coat the foam prior to installation.

...brake stiffness can also be altered by lowering/raising the spring position on the support arm because it alters the throw, I did not go that route myself, but others have.

...also recommend oiling or greasing other movable parts when you have it apart, will save you some squeaks down the road.

Highly recommend you watch this video by Thomas of Fanatec before dis-assembly, and be careful with the sensors, sensor cables.
