@ logiforce - i have no issues for you being a beta tester and community manager - you seem like a level headed guy and contribute frequently on this forum. I am sure you will give it your best effort :)

just my 2 cents

Thanks guys. However a CTM doesn't have to write one. I'll do it though, since I have been yapping about it for so long it is obligatory in my opinion. ;)

Anyway, me being one isn't official until I am posted on Thomas his blog as one. If I am notified that I am one I will directly open a new thread where everyone can throw there two cents into on why they want to be a tester. I will make a nice form factor for this in the OP so that it'll be easy for me to read everything and choose the 10 participants. Plus since I don't like to be a dictator and don't know you all as well, I will ask that you also post at that time who you think will be best suited if it is not you.

@lunarwolf: He said LF and with that he meant me. LogiForce -> LF. I think LunarWolf would be LW. ;) Also thanks.

Have to agree that Logi has shown a great online persauna as well seems knowledgable.

Congrats!

Guys guys... it's not confirmed yet. Or is the blog updated already with my name? Don't think so. So it's still a free for all still. lol

Do you have the Thrustmaster T500 RS? Would be really like to see a comparison between the CSW and T500 once you get it. I bet the CSW is going to be like 10 times better, altough more expensive the wheel rims for CSW looks way better, the F1 rim for T500 is entierly made in plastic.

Got a T500 V4, Ferrari F1 Add-on V1, TH8 RS V1, a G25 and an old Logitech Formula Force GP. Plus the ClubSport Pedals.

Besides, else I wouldn't be able to make this review (at that time I still had the T500 V2). https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=228495

Also the games I have... arcade and sim alike.

Etc...

Too much to mention anyways.

I also ordered a new lens to make some nice detailed pictures. Camera: Nikon D90. Lenses: Nikkor 18-105mm F/3.5-5.6 + new lens... Nikkor 40mm F/2.8 G Macro lens

Owens... I just ordered that 40mm. Will be here tomorrow. Got a good quality B+W UV Haze filter for it as well for protection. ;)

Was thinking of the 18-200 when I bought the D90, but got the 18-105 instead because of the fact that the 18-200 starts to zoom by itself due to its own weight. So no manual focusing on shots that are aimed upwards or downwards. That is... the kit lens was the V1 of that lens. The new lens however does have a lock for this. Another possibility would be this one: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/55-300mm.htm

If you need a zoom lens it's prob best to rent a 400mm Pro lens. :)

I'd stick with owning 200mm myself. Plenty of pixels.

Do note I am no pro. Have experience bit most things I've gathered by reading a lot.

This CSW wheel is gonna be one sexy Diva I'm sure. Can't wait to see the reviews.

I'm pumped to see the hype machine moving again at full speed. :dopey:

This time I'd recommend a shorter duration for poll voting. I think I made that last one like 3 whole days yet everything was decided much sooner! Maybe like 2 days max this time.

@Owens: I am a total amateur. So bare with me. I just read a lot of info on it, so I will tinker with the camera a lot before I get the perfect shot. ;)

@Sandboxgod: I agree, the poll was quickly decided. However I don't know how long I should keep Round 2 going yet. I am thinking of the following. I'd say Round 2 will be from Monday morning at around midnight, till the Friday evening at around midnight. Then I'll decide on which 10 are going to be in Round 3 and I will post the poll. Of course I will tell you all why I choose those individuals specifically. Which everyone might or might not want to take with them in their decision. Round 3 will be during the weekend. So until Sunday night, midnight to be exact. So a 2 days.

I think this is the best since everyone can have a chance to think about how they want to apply during the week and then vote via their computer or smartphone in the weekend.

Thanks for giving us the heads up.

No problem. If it's all sorted tomorrow for me to be CTM then I will probably open the Round 2 topic already. It won't matter much one way or another, the sooner the better. It will just end before next week Friday the 24th at midnight then. Round 3 poll opens right after.

Darn this will be a busy week. 3 birthdays including my own and then managing this poll and being a mod on ilonioum's forum plus also admin at amf7's forum, plus wanting to contribute to pCARS as well. Plus having to do shopping for my birthday as well as buying presents. Busy... busy...

You are a busy young man and this a very good thing :)

I hope we can throw a nice bday party on this coming Wednesday, Mr. CTM!

whats going on did Logi not get picked yet? Guess Thomas is gathering all the CTM nominations all at once??

Haven't got a confirmation mail either yet. So until I have that my hands are tight behind my back I guess. I reckon Thomas is busy with other preparations and/or private life. Let's just have patience guys... he'll respond soon enough. ;)

Wonder what kind of bday party i'll get, ilonioum. Surprise me! ;)

ps. Here's a teaser pic of the new lens i'll be using for shots... can you guys guess which product has been photographed?

Still no mail guys. So I still have no CTM confirmation on my side.

My two cents, logi will be an excellent reviewer; fair, thoughtful, and honest.

Would then like to see left888 and mayaman as testers.

Left888 mainly because of his apprehension on the CSR-E wheel rim and to get his take on the newer rims of CSW. Also he has owned many wheels and has awesome setups.

Mayaman because I just want to see pics of the CSW on his beautiful triple screen set-up. Also, just think mayaman would give is all a real thorough review.

Good luck to all...

Personally... Providing reviews are in depth and un biased I don't care who does it...

If I get the chance ( I didn't apply for this forum in particular) ill try to fulfil this. And I will also try to post reviews in aw many forums as possible!

you can decide to buy it or not. If you want to buy it after testing, you get a 50% discount:)
