Csw v2.5 firmware

Hi there
I have just carried out an update to my wheel base (csw 2.5) and now the wheel feels totally different on raceroom ,etc .
Has anybody else updated there firmware and has the same different feeling ?.

A firmware update sets all the wheel settings back to default. Did you set your wheel settings back to what the were before the update?

I have never changed the wheel settings since I got it just use the game settings .
I have fired an e mail to fanatec to ask .

It changed because now you have the FEI. I did put the FEI at 100 (you can put it something between 70-100). I think that after the firmware the wheel behave even better.

FEI. Stand for Force Effect Intensity. I think that is pretty straight forward what it does.

Did Fanatec add FEI to all their wheel bases? I noticed there's a firmware update for my CSW V2 as well. it was released a couple of weeks ago.

No FEI for us V2 users. That firmware makes the McLaren rim usable on it though.
