I know this may sound blasphemous but knowing that Gran Turismo is "my" choice of racing, I would like to know how Forza stacks up to GT?

I found the wiki page for "Sim racing" is very informative. It's a bigger world than most realize, this page is a summary of what's out there and the history. I leaned a lot from it.

Bought a X-Box on 2019 Black Friday sales, just because of Forza Motorsport.
Huge disappointment, much more arcadey than GT Sport.
As losely "SIM" as GTS but lacks much more the immersion of GTS.

I believe older versions were a lot better, but FM7 isn't nowhere compared with GTS, despite all the things PD didn't deliveres

Agree with @pedrocor , I'm somewhat of a casual player rather than a sim fanatic but FM7 I found to be quite arcadey, didn't really seem to be any weight to the cars.
Not saying its bad but wasn't really what I was expecting.
