Just curious how PD handles older Gran Turismo games once a new one comes out.
Let’s say Gran Turismo 8 is released at some point. Five, six, seven, maybe even ten years later, what happens to everything we’ve built in GT7? Our cars, liveries, collections, photos, replays, all that stuff.
The reason I’m asking is that this is one thing that always frustrates me about modern gaming. You can spend hundreds or thousands of hours building something, collecting cars, creating liveries, and yet in the end it feels like you don’t really own any of it.
Would be interested to hear from people who have been through previous Gran Turismo generations and know what Polyphony’s track record looks like.
