I'm not looking for a meta car or something that's only good at one thing. Which cars in the Gr. 3 class are more evenly rounded to be decent at all circuits? Preferably FR layout if possible, thanks guys 👍

The Atenza is pretty strong on every track.

Yes and the Lexus too I think. As well as the already mentioned Porsche and Subaru.

Then there's the two Venster mentioned above, although the Hyundai is pretty rarely seen.

Not too far removed is the previous gt300 WRX, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to envision the gr3 included as a realistic interpretation. If the BRZ didn’t exist Subaru would have made a current edition wrx have a GT300 version for sure. I certainly feel a bit more realistic rolling round in one of these vs an Atenza!
I find that either Lexus version can compete on any track

For me it's the Mercedes for sure, the 911 qualifies Ok for me but since the big handling update i find the TC way, way too intrusive.

I also enjoy the Aston despite the understeer and the Lexus is strong too. The Mazda is quite good but yeah i don't like fake GT3 cars too.

Overall, for me, the Merc and Aston allow me to get on the throttle faster and crisper than any other Group 3 car.

Dude doesn't know what he's talking about. WRX's were in GT300 forever.

As of recently, GT300 is equitable to GT3 in terms of pace

I'd love say Lexus. RCF '16 and '17 have little bit different character but it still do better job on any track and on long stint.

Really? I've never actually driven the thing as I'm biased against the made up race cars. Has there ever been a real world WRX GT3 class machine?

If you ask real world WRX GT3 then no, but if GT300 car yes. Interestingly livery on WRX GR.3 is carry from WRX N24H not from BRZ GT300 and we didn't get WRX N24H version (for GR.4) but we get this only.

I wish the Jaguar were a little better in handling because it has awesome acceleration and top speed. Good on brakes too but kinda thirsty. It's a beast trying to get it tamed. I was winning with it at Suzuka though.

Looking for a new skin to download for my Porsche then I will bring it back out. It has a horrid paint job right now:lol:
I'm a huge fan of historic replicas and thankfully the real Porsche factory team has made some beautiful vintage translations on the current RSR. I like to run the 90s GT-1 livery

The Nurburgring 24h has plenty of corners, but also several long straights. So it's hard to look past the teams and cars who did well in the Manufacturers Series final. That means the 2017 Lexus, Toyota FT-1, Aston Martin Vantage, and Mitsubishi Lancer. Other cars that had the pace to be up there but dropped back were the Subaru WRX (ran afoul of the stewards twice), Mercedes AMG (evil 5 second track limits penalty), and the BMW M6 (got punted).

Out of non-qualifying manufacturers, I do like the Ford Mustang, and the Mazda Atenza got a recent buff too. These two are more suited to power tracks, and conversely the Mitsubishi and Subaru work best on handling tracks or tracks with large elevation changes. I believe the rest are 'true' all-rounders.

I vote the Mazda 6 as well. Its such a generic RWD sedan. I assume its that 2.5 litre turbo four FR format.

I found power to be fine... actually much easier to drive aside from the truly large engined cars... the turbo can spool up and you can be fighting 2nd gear oversteer.

Fuel consumption is fine, tyre use is absolutely manageable. I find the road car version nicer than the GT3 but if I just want to win races and not worry too much, the Mazda 6 is it.

Granted you can take just about every other GT3 car to the win as well but I found you're managing more... in the 911 I'm managing tyres, for my style of driving, its another thing I dont need to be worrying about.

I like the Corvette C7R but I think its fuel consumption is higher. Not a biggie as I find fuel easier to manage.

For certain cars things stick out... like I think the 458 has really good fuel consumption so its not something I have to worry about. The Huracan I feel like had much worse fuel economy.

I generally did not like the Supra Concept GT3 all that much, I can manage it but I feel like it has some odd 2/3rd gear oversteer type issues.

Its a case of too many cars and not enough events.

I will take the Jag and AML GT3s out when given the chance.

There's a few I steadfastly dont want to do... the VW Beetle and the Citroen GT3. Nah.

Anyone have any words to say about the Ford GT LM Spec II? I dont mind it but I've driven it enough.

Merc' AMG, Lexus RC-F and Aston Vantage. Take a look at my garage for many liveries for each to add to your driving pleasure! They are awesome cars but i would say the Merc' just has the edge.

Try the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, good acceleration and predictable handling at high speeds, tends to slide a bit at lower speeds if you're not gentle with the throttle(I recommend using TCS since there's wheelspin on second gear) and steering, fuel consumption is so-so...Overall the car is in the middle of the class so it's less likely that PD would fiddle with its BoP settings.

Try it, you won't regret it.

Regarding the Ford GT LM, it behaves typically like all other MR but the low CG makes it a little bit better on predictability, but it's was nerfed so hard that now the car is almost worthless like the McLaren 650S GT3, also the cockpit view is claustrophobic.
