You've only seen two? Wow, they seem so popular here in CA. I've seen so many of them.

I just watched the cardboard commercial. Haha, it's great. :) The music just makes it so much better .

I've heard of the name Humve? What's the diff between Humve's and H1's, H2's?
Humvee is the general military term for the vehicle. After getting loads of coverage for their heavy use in the Gulf War in the 1990s, they were marketed to the United States public as 'Hummer,' though the term 'Humvee' was basically a synonym. The company was sold to GM in 2000 or 2001 and GM developed a new product, the H2. In order to avoid confusion, the name of the original model was changed from 'Hummer' to 'H1' with the 2002 model year, although this is only for distinction, mainly for journalists - the H1 name appears nowhere on the car.

Trivia - 99% of H1 buyers are male.

They're all around here...every GM dealer down here has at least 12 of them.

Actually, the term Humvee is a sort-of phonetic spelling of an acronym HMMWV: High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.

I know. Still, it was the military's term for it; our civilian 'Humvees' were Hummers.
