Custom BGM in Online Lobby

I know that you can have Custom BGM music to play while you are racing in singleplyer (a spec b spec) is there a setting where you can also have custom BGM in online lobby. I havent found it yet.

If voice chat in the lobby you're in is disabled, your BGM should work. 👍

If you invite your friends to your own online lounge you can enjoy your own tunes.

If you're the host they play. If you're not they don't to my understanding.

It`s a crap shoot, I`ve been in rooms that my music played, some not. I`ve hosted rooms, some times my music, sometimes not.

Every room I've been in with voice chat disabled my music has played.

Where do you see the indicator that the voice chat is disabled, I`ll watch for it this weekend.
I`ve never made any adjustments to that when I started a room so I`m not sure that`s what makes it happen.

See the white bubble with the lines in it to the right of the number of players in the room? If that's greyed out, voice chat is off. If it's lit up like all of these it's on. If it's off, your BGM should work.

Santos you were right. I went to a couple rooms and found your assessment to be correct.
But I don`t like having to pick a room status for my music, maybe after they fix the sounds, they`ll give us a way to play our music or not, like in options...
