Custom GT5 intro Vids?

I dont think it at all. In fact I think its the worst one I've seen, out of about 5 or 6 others. I dont like the music either.

My biggest problem with it is you used the engine noises only in one place on the old jag and ferrari on sarthe and its totally off and wrong. Custom trailer should either make sure the engine noises match what is happening on screen or avoid it altogether.


I saw much greater custom trailers in the lead up to and initally after GT5s launch.

Actually I think PD did an AMAZING job on every single freaking official GT5 trailer, and then totally screwed up the real intro beyond comprehension.

I dont know how they go from 10/10 spine tingling game trailers to a watch once, scracth your head, waste of 10 minutes and disc space when it came to the real one.

And Im not one of those who is against manufacturing proces type scenes, it was a good idea, but it was just done in such a mising chromsome way. And the Music....shesh. Every other GT trailer is pure epic. Then thr real one comes along and we get some emo rubbish.

But even the Japanese moon over castle Gt5 into, is still by far the worst GT intro ever.

IF I had the choice I would replace the real GT5 intro with the all the trailers spliced together.

I did say it was a "rehash" meaning it was put together quickly, I didn't really fancy sitting down and nit-picking through all of the finer details and for something that was essentially spliced together in about 15 minutes I'd say it was a fair effort.

As for the Engine sounds, I have to admit that even though they play from one section to another ( in about 5 seconds ) that even then it was well done ( considering I had a VERY limited amount of material to work with regarding real engine sounds )

You do seem awful picky though 👎

Well, what Can I say, take it like a man? I was just being honest. Dont misunderstand me though. Its not a terrible effort by any means, just my least favourite I've seen. Others may like it a lot more.

A lot of it has to do with the music and what scene is playing at the time and the possibilties that are being stimulated in your mind at the time at what all this means.
Some audio tracks suit trailers some dont. And some people are more biased toward types of music.
But on the whole I think the majority of people feel the same sense of epicness when a good song and good trailer are combine.


Ill elobrate my views on gt5 and trailers anothet time.

I do appreciate your honest opinion and that of course your taste's are different to mine which I fully understand, I will have to make another video using replays sometime in the near future.

No... Even if I hate My Chemical Romance, the original intro is far way better. The piano solo plus Planetary Go just fits the intro like nothing else. Hell! Every GT5 trailer was epic, like Horse Power from The Chemical bros, or the night trailer with TC...

Thanks for that, I completely agree on the Criticism thing, one of the guys above said the engine sounds were placed wrong but I do feel that given the limited content available to me that I did a good Job ( albeit a quick one )

Plus I had waited for about a week for the Prodigy to contact me back regarding use of the track in the Video.

I did feel the other posters were kind of harsh when it came to the crunch because as mentioned it was a quick video that was made in a total of about 20 minutes ( time wasn't on my side tbh ) and I don't have a HD capture card though I have been contacting another member here regarding saving replays and sending them to him for him to import and capture for me.

It's not that, Opinions are fine, It's the bashing that made me feel that it was a worthless post.

I've edited the original post again and re-embedded the video for all to see, whether people like it or don't it shouldn't bother me, I'm just offering a new flavour of GT Intro and I feel it's worthy of people to see despite their opinions

This was a good video and was nice to watch ! It is not like he had the 6 years and resources to put it together like PD so I say he did an awesome job !

I like the beginning music better then the original, but it went into game play to fast, but maybe its just because im used to seeing 10 minutes of factory then game play
