Just a question: In GT4, couldn't you go into the playlist of all the songs GT4 featured, and select which ones you wanted to hear in the menu, which ones during a race, which ones during replay, ...?
If this is still the case, I'd like to assign my own MP3's to the menu screens. Most of that music is just boring![]()
GT1's soundtrack is still the best one in the series in my opinion, so I may toss some of those songs in there, although I always have music turned off while I drive.
Try to not get nostalgic
My playlist will consist of:
Judas Priest
Motörhead
Rob Zombie
White Zombie
Bob Seger
Jerry Reed
Ministry
Saliva
Sevendust
Static-X
ZZTop
Favorite songs of past Gran Turismos
and much more.
the Prodigy
Apollo 440
FatBoySlim
the Chemical Brothers
Korn
Rise Against
Saliva
and some others.....
But most of all - Amon Tobin. His stuff is most regularly heard on TGUK.
Hmm, some GT "classics" like Feeder, etc.
Then some Frank Klepacki, Iron Maiden, Fleetwood Mac and Jethro Tull.
Amon Tobin - didn't he compose the entire soundtrack to "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory" for the PC and XBOX?
I actually bought the CD soundtrack for that - great Trance/Jazz stuff on that one! 👍
the music of the GT1's menus was EPIC

For those who cannot be bothered to read the patent > http://www.ps3news.com/PlayStation3/microsoft-owns-patent-for-in-game-custom-soundtracks/
I cannot find how far Sony is along to finding a loophole
You wouldn't happen to be referring to "East Bound and Down" from "Smokey & The Bandit", now would you?![]()
