Customisable Number Plates for GT...

My friend and I had hoped since GT2 that the new games would include the option to customise your number plates but alas...it is still to come! However today I saw a number plate that made me laugh and also wonder what the best number plate you've ever seen was? Here are my top 3:

1) PMS 247
2) BITEME
3) BIATCH

All made me chuckle and wonder how the Motor Registry let them through?!?
 
you can have custom ones on Project Gotham :lol:

but in GT the number plates just have the Car name on them, and i prefer it that way. driving around with b17ch on your car just isnt funny anymore

that reminds me....the rear of the Opel DTM in Gt3 and 4. genau mein ding. wtf does it mean? :grumpy:

Yes like the Tokyo Xtreme Racer Series I'd like to fully customize my License Plate.

Probably to Z58-MPM as that's my license plate and I like it myself.


As for license plates I've seen? My favorite would probably be: 1SICK3 (An owner of a 330ci had a fairly sick 3 series so it fit pretty well.)

PI55 OFF some old guy had it printed and taped too the front of his bike as he was walking it up a hill....... other than that there aint many in england that are worth noting

Only one I remember is the "DMV-SUX". DMV(Division of Motor Vehicles) really does suck, but at least they had enough sense of humor to let that one through! :D

Someone complained about it being 'obscene' though, and he clamied MILF meant 'manual inline lift fluctuator'. They made him get new plates anyway, but he kept the old one sitting in his rear window. :lol:
 
I like '4NIK8R'. That was actually my user name while I was playing GT1 all those years ago.

A guy I've talked to on some Supra boards used to have GOTMILF. Someone complained about it being 'obscene' though

How is that obscene? I know what it really stands for but how is the abbreviation obscene? Did this guy live under a fascist regime or what?
 
Dream car of mine has always been a 3rd gen RX-7. If I ever manage to get one, or even a nicely tuned RX-8, I'm getting "0 PISTN"

They probably don't care what it means, they just wanted him to change it because somebody complained. The guy lives in Washington, BTW.
A while ago in Alberta there were recalls (participation was voluntary) on licence plates with 'BSE' in them, because it could stand for Bovine Spongiform Encepholepelopathapo... er, mad cow disease. Which is a real issue, but thats a stupid level to take it too.

OK, you know what MILF is an acronym for. I think they are concerned about how "MILF" is appropriate in public, especially the last letter. It's OK between guys like you and me, but not to the whole public.

Not all.

I've seen a few cars like the Toyota RSC Rally Car have an European license plate on it.
 
I saw a blonde driving a Jag XKR with "WAS HIS" plates. Thats gotta suck :ouch:

And a Vette driven by a black guy plate was "NOT STLN" haha

I haven't seen this one in person but saw a video of a red supra from the states the plate was "1000HP" :drool:

There's a red Honda Insight I see around town with the license plate "70MPG". Too bad he'll rarely get that mileage in hilly Vermont.
