Hmmm, I always thought I would struggle here but I'm only doing 1:44s, Think this is gonna be a FR track all day long.

think us fwd boys are gonna have to put a good qualifying session in and then try and create a bit of a rolling road block!

Seems like there isn't as much grip on this track compared to others :/
But yeah the fwd lads will find this one hard.
 
Myself and HMS were running this track on Monday night after all of you guys buggered off, and I think this is going to be a FWD event :) It's possible that the BMW's will struggle slightly, but 1:44-1:45 sounds good to me :)

Oh yeah, the grip, or lack of it should I say....... It's a fricking nightmare!!!!!!
 
my fastest so far is 1:44.2 and I can go faster however wheelspin is a massive issue for me, If I managed to to 5 1:44 or better in the short race i'm fairly sure I would also need to pit in the short race! (altho chances are you will get damage so i'll have to pit anyway)

Gonna be a long race!
 
I thought Monaco was going to have damage set to light due to how tight the course is?

I also heard that Honda have a 150bhp drop in power about to be placed to make things more competitive :D (joke - unfortunately :P)
 
i'm suddenly feeling a lot better about this race having just done a few practice laps online with jimmy, i'm sure the fact that my best lap was a 1:40.867 is nothing to do with that :D

Oh yeahhh, i had a well good drift session. Although some "children" kept saying that they was the best at drifting.... Silly little comes backs like "no your worst in the world"
I thought stuff this and found a sick room. We had a 12 car tandem drift. Pretty cool. :cool:

Well my lap times have been an amazing 1:39:8 (With bouncing on the curbs in the chicane) and 1:40:xxx - 1:41:xx driving a normal lap ;)

Aaw, i thought that i was really really fast with my 1.39.9
 
HAHAH SLOW.. We are in a room and i just done a fastest of 1:39.278 and an average of 1:39.4xx.. BOOM!!! I'll upload a pic soon

It's all short lived as I guarantee we won't be able to bump over the chicane ;)
 
To be honest i don't really use it that much, me and nate use it but no where near as much as we did. I found a sweet way around which doesnt take the rip :)

and to be honest alex, nate will tell you, i'm fast the whole lap not just in the chicane. he was on his limit following me
 
Pleased to say my civic is consistently lapping in the late 1:39's :D YEEHAWWWWWWWWWW we have a race on our hands girl
 
Well im hoping that mx-5's get 1st and 2nd so that it holds up civics ;) , that plays into bmw's hands.
 
Had a good little race with you Mcg, close battle with pretty much no contact (altho I did hit you on the crest at the hill on one occassion) but enjoyed it in my BM

Even using my standard BM I was faster and enjoyed it alot more than using my Focus. If i'm honest I was hating using the RS, no grip and wheelspin was taking the fun away as I didnt have much control and I dont want to ruin it for others! (plus i'm pretty slow in it) :(
 
It's a shame but you really should have thought about that before you signed up, or at least before the first race...
You could have had a 330i or mx-5 if you wanted sumin rwd

I do some tests later today. Maybe lowering the torque that might ease up some wheel spin. Try to muck about with the setup, you will some how find the speed and pace.
 
i'm in the same boat. you seen how fast i am in the bmw. but i am persevering and i have the civic just as fast now...

Sorry!, I am happy with my RS, its just on this track i'm really struggling! :yuck:

Once Monaco is over things will be good again :)

EDIT - Just for Laughs I will put my car on my profile if anybody wants to see what i'm working with :D , I'd quite like to hear how it compares to what others are driving
