Best way to put it is, some people are ridiculous at judging when they should and shouldnt back out from an overtake, it's that simple. I'm not saying there stupid or nothing but they just don't have the "Racing inteligence" to think ahead to the next turn and determine whether or not a pass is make-able or not. Not degrading anyone but some people should try work on there mental side of the racing rather than the physical. If you do, you will increase lap times. It sounds silly but i work on my lines. i tune my car to the lines i choose. I look at where i can gain time and gain places within the space of 2/3 laps of practice. Yes, that happens!.

Just THINK about stuff.

Patience is everything and i did wait behind priesty for a while. But the moves that was tried on me was just weird. why try to overtake someone on a corner you can barely do that. All the moves i done i thought was acceptable. But there is crazy stuff in the field. If you want to be faster then just keep learning the track and keep changing the setup. You don't need long. I done pre-testing for about an hour and mole joined about 5 minutes later when i started. The times i was setting before was about 1:19.2's. Changed the setup a few times then managed to do a unbelievable time of a 1:18.6. ( mole can back me up with that). But with even qualify i done a 1:18.9.

yeah he was just ahead of me and a whisker behind mole.. I done a 1:19.002

mcgloney
Yeah. Me and mole was pretty close.

Yeah, your 18.6 in the room before the race was impressive to say the least. I got an 18.8 in quali and felt it was near enough a perfect lap in the Integra, and that was after a lot of setup work. Its good we have laptimes that close, top 3 within 0.2 in quali is great.

Crazy pace from the front, I managed a 1:19:4 as my best overall. I'm hoping it was a generally weak track for the atenza, although race pace looked reasonable.

RACE REPORT

A pretty simple race to report from DFR, a weird decision on dealing with the quali but It worked out all right.

Nate you're up again! You dropped yourself in this one by asking me to check the battle between you and Syjones. You claimed him to be nudgy, but pretty much all the contact came from your side. The main point I am picking up on is as you lost rear-wheel traction on the cambered corner after the tunnel. You drifted, moved out to the left, then did not give up the position to your chaser. This consequently gave him no room through the next two corners, ending with you in the grass.

You SHOULD have done as I did in a similar incident, here I stayed far to the left, allowing around four cars to pass through without risking an accident.

As of no direct loss to Syjones you escape a minor warning, but are cautioned.

As to the Turn 2 incident, a minor tap from Uxious plus possible weight glitch and lag, Nate was thrown from the track. There is very little that can be resolved from this more than an annoying occurrence from online racing.

Congratulations to Mcglone and Moleman, great work on those Quali lap times!

We'll see you at Nurb lads!

?
I got angry because sy kept nudging me and pushed me on the grass, thats why I wasn't going to let him passed. Load of ****...

EDIT: Infact, half the reason i even brought this up was because he kept nudging you just before I got passed you...

Race Reports:

Warnings go to:

There was an incident during race 2 where Preisty lost out due to Sean not being able to see him. This needs to be figured out before the race next time.

The crash between Mcglone and Sean is mostly a mistake on Mcglones part. After you two touched twice, Sean did not hit a third time, you just had too much speed to make the rest of the corner, this unfortunately cost me finishing high, as I a had already been hit off the track by Mcglone on turn one due to drivers not leaving enough room.

Well that's that for now, I will work on the score sheet.

See you at Cape Ring!

Preisty + sean:

Preisty turned in on Sean, giving him no room, causing Sean to hit Preisty just after the small kink before the corkscrew. The collision lost preisty speed, causing mcglone to crash into the back of his car. Preisty then returned to the racing line, barging Sean into me, who lost two places to the crashing drivers.

Minor warning to Preisty - Dangerous moves on Lap 1 at a hazardous corner.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minor warnings - Jimmy + mcglone + Knight_Spirit - Dangerous driving after event at corkscrew -

All three drivers barged through the bunched cars, resulting in heavy contact amongst the crowd.

Knight + Jimmy both off-tracked due to this event.

Final corner - Lap 1

Those involved can call this one if necessary.
I have no idea who could see each other, and who felt lost out due to the turn.

Coclusion:

This race was hard to call warnings on (note all minor) due to lag, problems with invisibility between drivers, and other issues throughout the grid. Watching through the Corkscrew, most drivers turning in were at some point stopped dead due to the car in front lagging backwards.

GT's recent updates have really caused some severe problems with the game's online, which will hopefully be fixed towards Christmas.

Grats to Syjones and Kammy on their wins, and to Moleman for his 2,2 finishes!

See you at Deep Forest

You were close, but these guys pulling the 1.18's out of nowhere was impressive. Race reports are now logged on OP #2

f.u chris.. your ugly personality really does have a way of hurting people

Aww Jimmyyy! If I gave credits to everyone within .2 secs of eachother I might aswell type the whole grid out!

Just though I'd chuck the top two names out there, you know I always mean well.

.2 within the LEAD!!! ACTUALLY i was within 1. something as i dont bang on 1.19 so there you go.. BOOM

Credits go to Jimmy for his FANTASTIC time in the Skyline!

Happy?

Darn! just realised I can't make the Nurb race!!!! :(

I'm at the Cinema we're running at college, it's changed from thurs due to a holiday. Race reports and the lobby will have to managed by someone else. Jimmy could you run the room in Nate's Lounge and you or Kammy do the race report? Kammy has access to the scoresheet so he can do that. I hope all goes well, was looking forward to nürb, had good pace in practice :/. I'll be back around 10:30 so will see how it went then.

Not sure if I'm gonna be about tomorrow, Mrs's Dad's B'day so have to do the 'Family' thing, will try and be back as soon as possible tho :/

I hope that whoever runs tomorrow enforces no overtaking in turn 1, lap 1. If this rule is broken it may be punishable.

I have no idea if I'll be on tonight, at the minute I would say no, I doubt I'll be home before about 9 30, but I might just make it during qualifying. Sorry, I've not been around much in the last week, but I should be back on in a few days.
