The Poles? There's quite a few round my way!

On a serious note, I only have access to GTP on my iPhone app so I'm on a cut down version of the site (laptop is currently broke) so can't check anything like that!

Hey no worries. I use that app and the only reason im not using it now is because i LEFT MY PHONE AT HOME!!! I'm NOT ANGRY or ANYTHING!! Ill be ok once i STOP FREAKING OUT!!

If it's still open for sign-ups, I wanna race with ya guys! I'm not the fastest racer on the planet, but I race fair and clean. It will be my first online series in GT5, but I have done some online series in rFactor and GTR2.

Team Arrows
Rasmus/hetoft
Focus ST/Orange

See you on track!

It doesn't matter much to me what days we race, as long as it's not on Fridays or Satudays.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thurdays are good for me all my other nights are tied up...

James (HMS) was there

Was a good end to the season though! Got really interesting watching Rob Austin muscle his way past Flash in final few laps haha, Grace was screaming at the tv as she didnt want him to take Matt Neal out, and have Flash take the win and the championship lol!

Nice to see John Cleland there too, heard he was driving the medics car at the start of race 2! oh, and Terry Grant! what a legend he is! Saw him at Max Power live years ago, changed a wheel (literally) on his little MG thing whilst it was doing donuts!

Can I please then be put down as an Independent? I'm already committed to a number of series and would only be able to make a few if any at all.

I have some experience of this level of cars, as currently drive a Focus in the TOCA BTCC series. Still learning to get better but nice and clean and fair (as fair as BTCC allows anyway). Happily involved in close pack racing.

Let me know if that is ok 👍

We need to do a bit more testing, but yes the Beemers will run lower power, as they are already heavy enough...

Any response????

Some good running last night, seemed pretty close, as normal the BMWs had the upper hand on the twisty tracks but the Mazda has an advantage on the straights, nobody ran the Teggy so that needs to be involved to make sure that's even........

FF on Eau Rouge was pretty scary tho esp on cold tires!

One thing I did notice I need to rework my set up slighty due to spec2 but that's no biggie

Can't wait for this! :)

Hmm I reckon the Atenza's are too fast on the straights and if anything, just as good on the corners as the beemers to be honest. There launch from the start is pretty good too! I reckon we should just allow any cars that are noticeably slower, more power.

Maybe on Fuji yes but none of the tracks were running (except Monza) has a straight that long so the advantage isn't so great.........

As for starting, mine is very poor!

I like the way all the cars have different strengths and weakness's on different tracks. It'll be good that on one week the bmws will be stronger and on another the atenzas will reign and on another the focus will kick butt. I think trying to find true parity between all cars will be a fruitless one and will probably, in the end, do all your heads in! :) thoroughly enjoyed last nights races around spa, not so much Fuji as it's a bogey track for me, and looking forward to the series starting. S'gonna be good.

Agreed,

I think its quite good that all the fast drivers airnt in the same car either, there are some really fast guys in this series but there spread between the Teggy, BM and Mazda and then you have the not so fast guys (me and a few others) in the other half of cars so we should have a really close constructor championship aswell as a drivers one :)

I bet you the honda's will run ahead again! ;)

...You're joking right? ;) The Integras need to drop to 1250kg to be competitive, and even then it's debatable as to whether they are quick enough. I put in a practically perfect lap at 1250kg at GVE and matched Jimmy's BMW time, but at 1330kg the car runs a second per lap slower and is noticeably slow out of the corners.

Not trying to create argument but there seems to be some massive anti-integra stuff always going on and it's unfair; we were quick on merit last season, nothing else.

Also agreed, I think the Mazdas have seemed the best in the first few practice races given that the tracks have been ones with long straights like Spa or Fuji, round other tracks it's pretty close. The gap in qualifying has been fairly small and in a race with slipstream its been even closer, as proved when the BMWs won a few races.
