That was Alex that did that, he's admitted it was his fault. The general feeling is Sean should be banned, I'll try and explain tomorrow...
 
Not sure if I missed anything while trying to connect, but why was there a 86 GT running?

Surprised to see a sports car running in a series ment to be for normal cars.

If it is allowed and people are allowed to change cars mid season and as were running 2 per car I'd like to put mine and Jacks name forward to also change to the 86GT.

Changing cars mid season is stupid and the GT shouldn't be allowed anyway.

But why does this need to be done in the races? (unless it's not scoring points) but it's just another issue the people racing have to deal with

People in the race should be racing and using the correct car.

Just seemed strange as IMO it doesn't fit at all.

Not my series, not my rules but those are just my opinions.
 
It's done in real BTCC i beleive. The final at Silverstone (which me, Nate and James were at) Had a Batman painted, different spec car follow the pack on the two outlaps, but didn't run the race I think due to technical difficulties.

That was the Thorney Motorsport Vauxhall Insignia. It was a demo lap to check it worked basically.

Yes but yesterday wasnt the last race!

I thought I heard someone say he was sitting on the chicane so I was suprised when he carried on racing.

Anyway, would have been nice to know what was going on thats all.

I assume its going to be running the rest of the series?
 
What happened to you priesty in race 2? You pulled over then you just kinda lost it and started doing doughnuts at the end of the pit straight!
 
Also just wanted add, and I don't really have a problem with it but moleman had a rage quit in race 1 then automatically took pole for race 2. I know he would have, in the end, been running up the front in race 2 because he's fast but shouldn't he, in the spirit of things, let everyone go by at the start and go from there?

The last 3 laps of race 2 between moleman and me were pretty epic. It was so close at the end but he drove a wide car and if I had gone for a pass it wouldn't of been clean and that's not how I like to race.

you guys were 16 seconds ahead me and kickstart after the pit stops.. we shortened that to less than 5...

I honestly don't know, once he lagged and we had to restart I said he shouldn't keep racing, everyone else said it was fine for him to carry on...

Not alot lol,

Tbh mate I was 1.5-2s slower than you guys as I was feeling pretty hanging, in the first race I tried to move out the way when people came up to me, then I was messing about at the back with Sean.

In the second I moved left off the start just to get out the way as I really didn't feel up to it and I didn't wanna cause/be involved in any incidents.

I stayed on track parked up and just watched and still managed to get 1 point :D

Blamed the Mrs as I spent all afternoon Xmas shopping which just pissed me off and put me in a s****y mood.

Was good seeing you, Jack and mole going onto the first corner, seen you smoking alot towards the end tho
 
I don't wanna cause problems guys by saying I wanna use the 86 instead of the ST, but there were no problems with the MX-5's being run last year which is essentially a sports car, and from the results last night, I wasn't threatening anybody, 6th and 8th I think I came, which is probably no better than I would have managed anyway!

If there are issues with me running in the 86 then can the organisers please let me know. I joined the 2nd series as a teammate to Jhodas, who promptly buggered off after the first round, leaving me pretty much to do what I wanted..... Like I say though, sorry again for those that I upset by using it last night, thought it would be a good idea to at least try out for next season if nothing else. I'm sure if the DLC had been available, a couple of you would have wanted to run the Scirocco too, and I wouldn't have appealed. It isn't any faster in my hands than the ST, but I feel much more comfortable in it even after just the 2 races last night.....

Really sorry about the lag on race 1, it aggravates me as much as the next man!!

Lol I was quite surprised how close we were to them by the end of the race!
On another note, what's a good site to upload the replay of race 1 to? I'll try and get that sorted tonight if I can find my memory stick lol

On the last lap (15th for me, but whatever) i pulled out of the pits in front on Nate and McGlone, Nate got past me fine but McGlone kept peeping his horn and instead of just going past me he kept bumping my tail. So i pulled wide and slowed down to let him past but he just slowed down behind me. So i thought "**** it, it's the last lap of the race in the last sector. NOTHING is going to change in this race." So i floored it, went over the grass and flew past Nate at the tight bend.

I don't see how my actions in the last lap could effect any outcome of the race standing, but whatever. Pull me out the ****ing season and forget about my registration for the GT500 since clearly all i'm going to do is get in the way.

Seriously you kids need to lighten up and stop being so ****ing serious all the time.

Dude. I beeping my horn at you so you would move over, actual fact i trying to chase down knight believe it or not. I hit you because you was still in my way. Wasn't till we got near the straight i passed but i was ****ed off so much i slammed on my brakes.

Lapped cars means move out the way. BMW's (mine) doesn't do nothing in slip stream.

People don't hate you, you just do stupid things that wreck peoples races.

It wasn't a rage quit. I was half a lap behind the field after having written about the grid being messed up. So I could have driven around on my own for 6 laps, or I could have gone back into the lobby, it would have made no difference on whether I finished last or not ;)
 
Sean, you made me take out dave aswell...
I didn't mean to make you angry as you're a mate, but you do always do stupid things and we've had nothing but complaints from everyone. Maybe racings not your thing?

Sean, this series is proper racing and dicking around is clearly not liked by the rest of the guys which, is what your good at when it comes to racing.
 
ok, i've confused myself now, i've exported the replay to my memory stick, just plugged it in to my comp and found the folder (i think) it's been copied to, and there's 7 files called replay ("replay.0", "replay.1" etc.) and a few other files. I've only ever exported 1 replay, so presumably these are all parts of the same replay, meaning i need to archive the whole folder and upload that???
