Bristol Rovers, Away to Hereford tonight :)

I'll be around but it doesn't look like tonight's going to happen, far too many outs, haven't heard from Mcglone yet.

By the way guys. I won't be able to race next week either. Cause there's a birthday in the family.

I already got rejected and ive got quite a good reputation for being clean and respectful. So I doubt it sadly :(.

Race is at 8, no cancelling this time!
Sorry to people who want to join, you have to wait for season 3...

Bit of a shocker for me!

Doesn't help when my wheel is playing up, been emailing Thrustmaster to get it sorted. They were after a video, well I managed to get that tonight :(

Piece of s*** >:[

Wheel is actually awesome but issue I'm having is really annoying me now :(

alex.. chris.. care to ellaborate instead of just saying your sad and awmygod...

On lap 1 of qualifying we had some really weird glitch where basically everyone was going round as normal, then suddenly everyone dropped off the scoreboard but could still drive round fine. If you backed out to the lobby then you couldn't get back in. So... new lounge time :sly:

Went ok from there but was some reports of some cars having no tyre wear to begin with, amongst other issues, but it worked out in the end.

Race 1: Got totally mugged on the line as per usual haha, dropped to 4th but managed to make most of that back on the first lap to get up to 2nd. Can't remember how I got into the lead but towards the final few laps my tyres were starting to be wrecked and kickstart got the gap down from 3secs to 1.5secs by the end - so I knew race 2 would be hard on me in terms of tyre wear.

Race 2: Just stayed out of trouble in the first stint, and ended up 3rd going into the pit stops with maybe a 4 second gap to Syjones and Kickstart up front. Pitted a lap early which meant when they came out of the pits, we were three cars in a line now. Swapped places a few times and have to say it was really clean - actually the whole season so far has been great in terms of that. With 3 laps to go my tyres were ruined and I was just using Kickstart's slipstream to keep up, hoping that he might be able to catch Syjones. Turns out Sy messed up on the final corner on the penultimate lap which let both Kickstart and myself through. For kickstart that got him the win (but he might have caught up anyway tbh), but for me it meant I might be able to sneak 2nd. Tbh I didn't deserve 2nd at all and my tyres were wrecked, so I put up a defensive fight but only what was necessary really. Ended up 3rd which was a great result really!

To be honest I was on the verge of settling for 2nd in the last race as with one lap to go it didn't look like I was closing sy down quick enough, and moleman was still lurking in 3rd. Thought i'll give it one last push through the chicane as that was one of my stronger sections, at which point sy made just enough of a mistake to let me through with a comfortable gap, giving me my first btcc win :D was a really enjoyable couple of races with some really good clean battles
