Jimmy-- I use a pad and i dont even use the ebrake.. i use abs off with brakes set to 0front 10rear :)

BTW Welsh it isnt an actual psn hack. they overload the servers with around 7000/8000 ip adresses per second with 1 computer.. imagine that multiplied by say 30 40 people lol.. they take psn down that way :P

Their basically performing a massive DoS (Denial of service) attack , it does sort of put Sony to shame if they can be brought to their knees this easy :indiff:

Hmmm, it is working and has kind of the same feeling, but the long ebrake slides possible with (of course) the e-brake itself, arent possible this way. You slow down much more :)

But thank you for the ti anyway, it'll have to do for now, and i'm practising **** loads to get out of the 'fail' zone drift-wise with the wheel :D

Is it the ferrari wheel? Or a 900* one

DDoS Alex :D lol

but yeah just spamming the server so much until it cant handle the overload of ip's. these guys wont be found and they pretty have just done this to bring sony to there knees and show that there not to be ****** with and anyone can be made to look ridiclous!

Look what they done to Mastercard and Visa etc lol OH and they turned youtube into a pornsite for a day in 2009 lmao..

Sorry to be off topic in your thread but who are these guys who are hacking or what ever is happening?

this time it wasnt anonymous. anon has come out public to say they wasnt behind this attack.
noone has claimed that they are responsible for this attack yet. and if it were anon,we would know it from the day psn went offline.

there is articles written all over the place how anonymous declared it was them.. even seen around where these guys are suppose to chat on forums etc about it..

These quotes are posted on the Anonymous site and also on the Anonymous groups facebook and several other forums etc..

"There are things that go beyond your personal pleasure... you may not be able to enjoy things because of our actions but it is for a greater cause."

"Take a break from online gaming for a while.....it will help your skills, your health, and your emotional levels, which by the way are a bit out of order if they are being shackled by the PSN being down. We have no qualms about our actions, even though it may affect fellow anonymous or supporters... we hope they understand the bigger picture."

"You can`t shoot people in real life, therefor you play a game and go online to shoot people. But now that you`ve also been denied that you rage mindlessly, maybe it`s about time you put your mind to productive use?"

These d-bags are idiots... I understand that they want to "help their cause" and whatever - but to prevent millions of people from using the PSN service is ignorant.

Seriously who is going to support them now after they did this?

Logo is temporary until someone finds a better one, or leave it , is kinda nice and simple :)

Please try and use proper punctuation and capital letters in your posts. Furthermore, words like "woulda", and "coz" fall into the category of lazy grammar, and is against the AUP.

This goes for all of you, so don't feel like I'm just picking on you, D-Max.

Thank you.

;)

Jim, with PSN down, I think a lot of us actually got something better to do, than reading up on this forum ^^ I mean, what's the point anyway lol :D (I'm just checking in to see if something is happening soon, not to have huge convo's btw)

Non capitalizing and you only used two dots for the elipse ;)
Plus you said 'coz'

I was referring to the post I just made smart arse ;)

I see no problem anyway. I'm here with MY/OUR team talking to you guys and you all understand exactly what I'm saying. Fair enough if it was A thread with an actal outcome like A thread with a question but it's not :/. It's torture trying to write an English essay!. Although what I found HILARIOUS is that an old racing thread I was taking part in, The moderator made so many mistakes etc.. you would'nt believe but the damn thing was locked. :(

Good gravy...

You agreed to the terms and conditions laid out in the AUP when you joined this site. That goes for any thread/forum within said site. You don't have to write "an English essay", you just have to use English to the best of your ability. Lazy grammar is just lazy. It makes your posts hard to understand for anyone trying to view them, that includes the moderators, and many people who don't speak English as a first language.

Furthermore, if no other member has posted since your last, edit your last instead of double posting.

Simple as.

;)

Not being funny or anything but I read txt speak, or MSN speak, or what you call 'lazy grammar' better than I read fully written perfect English.

It's quicker, more straight to the point and easier to write.

Capital letters are lazy but not necessary at all really in my opinion, unless it's an actual english lesson essay. Full stops are lazy (when missed I mean)

but tbh if i was writing this myself i would write it like this prolly. (with no rules)

^^ That is my preferred language ;)

I do understand the fact about English not being some peoples 1st language, that does make a lot of sense.

But to be honest I do usually edit my post after I have written it to make it proper. Spell checker saves my life in every post.

Could of wrote this in half the time though if the T's and C's were different xD

Also, "Good gravy..." is a contradiction of your whole post. ;)

*facepalm*

You can't be serious. Let me remind you of this:

AUP
* You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

You agreed to that when you joined this site. That goes for everyone in every thread on this forum.

I wouldn't be so cocky about reading text speak better than English. That is a sad state of affairs.

but tbh if i was writing this myself i would write it like this prolly. (with no rules)

Your "preferred language" makes you look like a 5 year old with a broken shift key. Do you really think anyone wants to read that kind of thrown together nonsense? This is an international forum. You can't expect everyone to understand that garbage. Hell, I have lived in the US most of my life, and I can't decipher half of it.

Just follow the rules and type properly (don't be lazy just because you're in a hurry, or it's your "preferred language")

I do understand the fact about English not being some peoples 1st language, that does make a lot of sense.

Well then what's the problem?

As I said before there is no reason to be lazy with your grammar/English. It doesn't take any more time to hit the shift key, or type out the full word. To say it does is asinine.

Also, "Good gravy..." is a contradiction of your whole post. ;)

Wow, that makes as much sense as a condom machine in the Vatican...

"Good Gravy" as with all similar terms is a note of frustration. I should have hoped I wouldn't have to explain this. Even if it wasn't it's hard to see how it "contradicts" anything.

LOLOL
Not to be an ass but while we're on the topic of not understanding things, I had no idea what good gravy meant XD

Well, that was hardly the point of my post... If it makes it easier, I could say...

Great Googly Moogly... For the Love of all that's holy.... Damn and Blast.... !@#*$!....

I could go on.

However, lets just try and stay on topic guys... Type to the best of your ability, so everyone can understand it, and everything is "gravy".

;)

This whole Gravy term.. Where on Earth did that come from?.

I'd prefer Curry or something being used anyway I'm not too keen on Gravy! :(
