That much Red Bull isn't healthy. Just double the other.

You mean this much? :D

Mate doesn’t your heart explode when you are on first position and your heartrate spikes up because of the intensity of the race aaand flipping those cans open?

My heart rate definitely does rise when a race is about to start, even more so when the action gets good. That’s an old photo from years ago though, I don’t have or drink nearly that much RedBull anymore. I actually only had that fridge because I worked for a property management company for a while and a tenant left it behind fully loaded when his convienence store closed down. The owner let me keep it because he knew I liked RedBull, but it was too loud and used too much power so I ended up selling it. :)

An 8 pack is the most I’ll get at one time now, and it will usually last me the weekend. :)

At the time that I had that fridge though, I also got all the Monster/Rockstar drinks from the store as well, I think I actually ended up with every energy drink they had, even the 5 hour energy shots lol. It’s took MONTHS to go through it all. :)

Red bull and stuff is dangerous. I had two jobs and was working like 18-20 hours a day for about 4 months when i was in my early 20's. I survived on cigaretts and redbull, i have barely touch energy drinks since and not in a few years at this point.

Does anyone have problems driving with Brazilian players?
Like just today before work, I decide to run one daily race, the first one in Dragon's Trail to be more specific.
I only get in with 5 minutes to qualify so I have enough time to run one and a half lap.
I end up being second to last.
Just before that I check the list of my rivals.
Good, mostly Americans, except ugh, one Brazilian.
So, start of the very short race.
It's only 4 laps, so I start my way in, and already in the first lap, one dude has gone off track.
I pick up one position, and another one, just as another dude loses control from one turn.
I started 9th and I was up to 5th already in like 2 laps.
Then, out of nowhere, this dude starts picking up speed and gets close to me, but can't pass me.
I fight this dude for the last two laps and he can't pass me.
Till the last corner to the straight and checkered flag.
Just in the last lap, I proceed to turn from the inside, so not to let him pass me from there.
Then just as I am taking the final turn, he bumps me from the inside, and I go off track a bit, and he passes me.
He gets 1 second penalty on his lap time but no slowdown penalty! 🤬
To top it off, it was the Brazilian dude!

I just think the Brazilians race "aggressively", the two consistently dirty players I've raced against and kept some videos of were from USA and Canada... so every place has dirty drivers.

I got bumped off sure, but didn't get penalized for it this time!

Unlike this start

Penalty system is fine....

I gave up on not braking for Degner 1. The steering delay, max 70% steering input at speed, it's just too much trouble on a controller. I tap the brakes now for consistency and as you can see above it pays off. I'm still slow through the esses. I can flick the left stick all I want, the steering dot only crawls over to the other side and maxes out at 70%. Can't get under 1:40, oh well. Get a wheel and all that.

This guy (Fraga) is so sick, very next race he clocked a 20:16 race time starting from the very back. My record race from pole is 20:27
How does he get past these guys? reputation might help!? nobody wants to be the idiot that took him out, right!?
Forgot to save the replay :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Get a wheel!!! Im pretty sure speed/grip limited steering lock is the added driving aid for ds4 controllers.

@nuu1212
Thats awesome dude! So I guess Fraga races in europe now that he races there for real eh?

Try 5 triple shots of Espresso
I went decafinated about 15 years ago because it made my heart race, and I got irregular heartbeats. I think that would kill me. Adrenaline makes me happy, though. My heart rate goes up a bit when racing online, but I've gotten used to that stuff, so not much. I have a pretty fast bike I ride on the street (ZZR1200), and I've had that thing doing some adrenaline inducing stuff, but it's amazing how calm you can be when you're comfortable doing something. A couple years back I had to grab a handfull of brakes because I thought a car was going to pull out in front of me, and I had just come around a line of cars, so I was well above triple digits. Had the back tire about 6" off of the ground. After the perceived danger was past, I noticed that my heart rate, breathing never even went up. It was a bit suprising to me.

You don't have a wheel??? WTF!

I guess he has had this Euro Account for a while now...
But yeah, I was wondering about his perfect internet connection, absolutely no lag! He must be close!
Aha, he is starting in FREC on 14.04.2019, along with "our girl" Sophia Flörsch.
She's pretty cool, seems a bit slow, however :scared: Maybe he can teach her some things and vice versa...

I'm on edge when I get matched with players and during warm up. If I start on pole (rare nowadays :p), I'm usually cool enough to run away with it in shorter races. Close battles make my heart race no matter if I'm defending or attacking, but I really enjoy it nonetheless. :D

@Sven Jurgens We seem to get matched a fair bit. Out of curiosity, why do you choose to start at the back?

Disconnected again in case you were wondering where I just went....

There's many reasons why I like to start at the back:
- I don't enjoy qualifying / driving alone on the track. (Nordschleife excepted)
- Qualifying behavior of the car is different than on the track, not good practice beyond getting a rough idea of the braking points.
- When I qualify I usually start in the 'danger zone' at max SR.S, prone to get bumped off in T1.
- Starting at the back I can take it easy lap 1, on Suzuka I prefer to wait a couple seconds extra before leaving the grid when no one is behind me.
- Lap 1 is always chaos and the penalty system is too unreliable.
- Starting at the back I get a lot more overtakes, great learning opportunities.
- There's usually not a lot of sportmanship to be found at the front, I'm not a win or die kind of racer.
- GT has always been a start at the back, get to the front game!
- That positions raised arrow after the race gets addictive.

Main reason: I've had too many bad experiences starting in the middle to go there again. At some point I gave up waiting for a working penalty system and abandoned qualifying.

Hmm did my car hit anything after I got disonnected, how did I lose 7 SR for a disconnect... At least I'm down to 28K DR again, was at risk of entering DR.A again :)

All good points. The SF races have been particularly bad in the mid-pack. I've somehow managed not to get knocked off at T1 yet, through 15 or so races, but I'll usually put myself off soon after.

You didn't hit anything. I was tailing you down the straight and you just disappeared.

That’s epic and why he’s the best for me, because he can actually go on the track and do it in real life.

In situations like that you have no time to think, you don't have time to get scared.
I bet your heart beats a couple extra beats when you think about it, even now.

I got completely destroyed by some E rated alien on a new account named BSR_srvs0608. Not sure who it is. Anyone have a clue? He's incredibly fast.

Now my dog ran off with a raw sausage, had to pit, got ejected for some reason and found my car limping down the track. It's going well lol.

Finally, an undisturbed race! I finished 6th after getting bumped off twice. The two that bumped me off quit. One tried to wreck me before having to serve his 5 sec penalty. Credit goes to PD, his car was already ghosted as soon as I got in range and his brake check right before spoon was denied. 7 quit in that race, serving penalties takes away the 'fun'.

I did few race A and the inevitable SR loss happened. I bumped a guy in the last turn or lap1 because i braked too late ( I was checking how far were the dirty drivers behind me). Got 2s penatly and i felt bad for what happened so i slowed down to wait for the guy but all the pack was arriving so i thought the 2s were enough...
After i served my penalty it became chaos. Im just happy the guy could eventually recover his place, because everything went south for me. I drove very clean but everyone was making tiny or big contact or losing control. I got SR- for every single thing that happened. A guy pushes me out of track ? SR- for me. A guy spins and crash into everyone ? SR- for me . Trump sneezes? SR- for me. Brexit ? SR - for me. Unbelievable. Ended up the race at SR79 (-20!).

Next race i did not do any mistake but a dirty swiss driver had decided that i had to finish behind him so i lost SR again. SR 74.

Then from here it went better, I had a clean victory but only thank to a dirty british that completely lost it in the last lap. I was 3rd the whole race, 4-5s behind the brit and a polish that were fighting apparently clean.
In the last lap, I was getting closer, the brit got 2s penalty. Then 4. I was getting closer and i was obvious it became messy. then he was at 8s penalty. then he crashed the polish and himself and I passed them. By the end of the race he had over 10s penalty ?!

SR82 now, I will need to work it back to 99 tomorrow.

Is your controller sensitivity on 7? I got down to 1:36.8 with the DS4 (with boost). I'm sure it's harder to be consistent but the speed is there if you nail a good lap. I always lift at Degner, the risks are too high.
