Well as I expected last night was disaster central and this morning before work not much better!

Did two race B last night, first time I started at back and stayed there until the end, had got to grips with the 4C though so that was good.

Second race I started in 10th place but had a big collision thanks to a stupid black Ferrari and so I did my usual "rage" and ended up slamming brakes and finishing in last place, back to DR D.

This morning I did two races A with the Honda S660 and the results were okay but not the DR/SR so I kinda exhausted myself.

Feeling much more focus now as I get towards the end of my working day so hopefully the evening will have a better show.

Riiiight. I didn't race that one because it was a garage car.

It was definitely a provided car like almost every other Race A. I remember driving it and it's not in my collection. I'm sure most people didn't have 20 million credits lying around a few days after its release.

3 C races today. First one was quite fun. Started in 12th. A rather clean room. No mess on the first lap. I did a few mistakes but I managed to gain 3 places and finish in 9th position. 3 gained...not bad.

2nd race in as a mess. A south american was hitting everything on sight. As I went to pass him he pushed me sideways 3 or 4 times. I ended up in the grass ... Didn't even get a penalty for that ! He did the same to others players. I think he finally got a small penalty but it was nothing compare to all the time he made other players lose ...

3rd one was a bit better. I did get pushed off track at the hairpin on the first lap but the person apologized after the race. Think it was an honest mistake. I was able to regain a few places from last and finished 12 I think.

Result of all this ....dr down again.

I have this weird personal goal to reach A rating. I'm now at B (26986) but it's just up and down with all these "not so clean" races.
Went as high as 27941 but it just goes down again with the next race :(;)

Just got to keep at it I guess....

I'm exactly the same! As soon as I hit A-rating I'm going to screenshot it then hopefully go back to enjoying racing and not worrying so much about D/R.....

I don't know if others felt the same way but once I hit DR A, I became very reluctant to race since I really wanted to keep it. I just feel like I'll be dropping back down to DR B in no time especially with this week's races. Maybe I should try not to care so much.

Tried couple A races this morning, first one didn't go too well, @dlshearon saw me finish last. Second try I started 6th and got clean race 4th. Might try again soon, I'm back at top S again.

Good to see ya out on the track!
That was my 2nd Race A, 1st one since Monday. Jumped in a Race C after that race and done a no stop with mediums. Fun racing again this morning, even though I am way off pace.

Gr. 2 are tough for me.
Same here. I'm no good with Gr.2 & Gr.3, but I do fine with Gr.4 & Gr.1. It's because I can used AWD with those two classes, which is my preference.

Don't worry about DR, you will keep your skills even though DR might tank.

The first time I hit DR.A, Bluemoon bay came right after or maybe it was Monza. DR reset lol.
Then the first time I reached DR.S (before it was called A+) I screenshotted it, didn't even last long enough for KP to register it. NGP was on the next day and it turned out my controller R2 was worn out, only giving 95% throttle. By the time I figured out why I could suddenly not keep up anymore my DR had tanked.
It took a long time to reach A+, but now I know I can reach it anytime N24 or Nordschleife is on. Or put some effort into qualifying on a track I'm good at. It gets easier over time as you become more comfortable on the track and more consistent.

That graph represents almost 7000 races in a bit over 500 days.
The first time I hit DR.A was after about 900 races.
First time DR.S after about 2,300 races.

I stopped qualifying somehwere after day 250 hence my DR just getting more and more erratic depending on the weeklies.

Just enjoy racing and don't focus on DR. It hardly matters for matchmaking and know that you only get penalized worse against lower DR rated drivers. lower DR always has the right of way according to the penalty system.

I swear it was a Garage Car. UNless the one I'm thinking was was an FIA race. However, that race week was from August '18. I only saw less than some posts for RAce A. It was :

Race A - Brands Hatch (Grp X)
Race B - Dragon Trail Seaside (Grp 4)
Race C - Mount Panormama (Grp 3)

OKay, found it was provided. All good.

  1. I paid 20 million for that car and now everyone gets to drive it? And I probably still won't drive it as Bathurst > Brands! (I likely will as a diversion or after a disconnect)
    Only for one week. :)

After Sunday you will be back to one of the few who owns it. 👍

So, has anyone tried race c without stopping? I’m pretty sure it’s possible. I went out with a mixed set of tyres, hard front, soft on the back. It made the tyre wear much more even. I’ve done the race three times and haven’t seen/noticed anyone doing well on a no stop strategy.

Done race C about 15 times. Finished first ever time without stopping using the softest tire all the way around.

Done it with the Mediums all the way around, started 16th or last, finished 10th. Probably could have finished higher but I got the 1st lap nerves and hit the litter.

Yup, I’ve had a LOT more fun with racing since I stopped caring about DR ratings, I do try to stay at SR 99 though to make sure I get matched with you guys as much as possible. :)
Many care about DR and call A+ dr yoyo loll but personally i Only care about SR to be with clean racers DR dont really define someone speed as it can be ruined by lag or dirty drivers and penalty system . Anyone who is active in daily will sometimes see their DR go up and down

We're massively overdue a good Gr.3 daily on Blue Moon oval. Failing that I would be really happy with Super Formula at Fuji, GT3 at N24 or Gr.1 at Le Mans.

Edit: Or any race C which doesn't have silly tyre wear.

I felt the mediums going off around lap six, not really bad but enough to take the edge of my lap time. I want to be racing the car not just coping with it at the end of the race, so I pitted with the rest and got new boots. I might give the no stop a go later.

One of the long forgotten about tracks like Alsace, Sainte-Croix, Willow Springs and Monza would be nice to see although it's likely going to be:

Race A: Autodromo Lago Maggiore Central (N100)

Race B: Fuji (Gr.4)

Race C: Autopolis (Gr.2 or Toyota SF19)

Friendly reminder that St. Croix's C layout is the only one that's ever featured in a daily race, being Race C the first week they switched to weekly.
