Yeah I figured. I thought you would try to pass him while he was ghosted since PD fixed the ghost collision bug. It's hard to tell when these cars brake, no brake lights :banghead:

Great racing with you, very nice steady lines!

I've gone from hating the car to coping to getting the hang of it. Thanks to the great track I kept with it and now counter steering out of corners is pretty much automatic. Driving MT definitely helps to save the car when it tries to go off in the wrong direction.

I still use TCS, don't dare to turn that off. I never tried it with csa, it's driving fine now. I got so close to braking the 1:13 barrier, best lap of 1:13.056 then the next lap I was 0.3 sec ahead on that until the car decided to take me for a slight detour. Nothing too bad, just enough to lose my chance at a 1:12.xxx lap.

My best finish time so far is a 19:07, still plenty room to improve.

Oh yes the ghost collision fix is a good one and it's so funny watching people try to take out other cars after they have served their penalty only to ghost right through them and off the track again, I guess some have not learnt it's fixed yet. :lol:

Now you've just got to watch out for cars who have a penalty and have not served it yet because you can never be sure they will not try to take out some rivals first. :banghead:
 
Did a couple a race C . First ones were pretty good. Saw Mr. Jurgens in a few. Went as close as 29494 to rating A. Said to myself ...why not try one more, I'm in the groove ! Wrong !!! End up in a messy room. Lots of pushing on the first lap. From last, crawl back to 8th .....lost 100 DR. I guess quest for A is gonna have to wait 'till tomorrow :)

And, thanks for the comment. You were quite fast in that one. Once you passed me I tried to keep up but ended up pushing too much. .......slow is fast ..... Slow is fast ... Gotta remember that one :D:lol:

Sadly, there are still as many idiots on Race A as there were yesterday, so it just means your SR keeps dropping. Out of S now and into A with 74 points.

Just one side swipe or nudge from others is enough to give a neutral rating, anymore and it's down, down, down.

I must either be covered in tar/honey/or a magnet as even when trying to stay away from contact, like on the far side of the track, I'm suddenly side swiped for no reason.

I have been doing the "touch me, I'll touch the wall" method of payback though. Managed to get one dirty sod 7 seconds in 3 corners in Race A.

My last race at lunchtime, started 2nd on the grid, and was 5th by the hairpin. On the run out of the hairpin and up to the right hander at the top of the ramp I was somehow in 1st.

2nd place was a serious lagger and I think they caused a bit of chaos behind as by the time I got to the start of the home straight, I was 4 1/2 seconds ahead.

By the end of the race, I finished 6 1/2 seconds ahead for an easy win. Still ended up with a white Sr due to being hit at the hairpin on lap 1.

The problem is that a clean race only seems to gets you 2 SR. I'm down to 76 on my sturk0167 account, which I've raced from the front. I'm still 99 on my RPMcMurphy01 account , which I've raced from the back and got a bunch of wins. I'll stick with racing from the back, for now.

I was in perfect position this time, however the Brazilian bounced off the wall in front of me and knocked me into the inside wall. He neither got a wall penalty nor a penalty for ramming me into the other wall...

It's so easy on paper, then add lag and people that can't drive lol.

My SR has taken an absolute beating at RBR this week. Down from 99 to 40ish. So, couple more races before bed. But, on my girlfriend's PSN account.

The last thing I need is a DR reset.

I got in first, then let 3 cars by to be the correct time behind first, problem was car 3 went bouncing off the wall messing up 2nd as well, first got lucky.

Note to self, stop watching tv before the braking zone :)

And Fraga broke the 1.08 barrier, my best position on qualifiers this week is the one with the biggest gap, these damn aliens :lol:

My God :eek: I did have one lap where I would have walked away with the regional record had I not botched the last corner, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. :guilty: Plus it would still pale in comparison to a sub-1:09.

I'll be away tomorrow and whether I can improve my lap will depend on what time I return on Sunday. For now, my 1:09.768 stands at #7 in EMEA, .314 behind #1 who's a further .463 behind Fraga... :lol:

This should be the soundtrack for race A

Nope, sorry, can't do it. Can not concentrate at this slow pace, I quit to switch to race C. Was dfl anyway after getting bumped into the wall first then a 5 sec wall penalty for avoiding a car braking in the twisty bit.

Nope. I'm done. The racing down at E/B is even worse at RBR. One more race on my account means I'm now down to an SR of 22.

The Copen race is mind numbingly slow, and I couldn't control the F1500 if my life depended on it.

Qualifying runs only for me.

Roll on next week, and Fuji.

I got mauled in the first 2 laps on Brand's hatch, to last watching the pack disappear while eating wall. Of course the perp quit, they always do. Anyway I made it up to 5th in the end. I could have taken 4th if it weren't for old buddy Sha... rimes with hooter. punting me in T1. He didn't take the position at least. I got the fastest lap by over 0.3 sec. 1:13.033, so close to a 1:12!

Sorry to leave you hanging, but going so slow stresses me out somehow. Back to F1500 mayhem.
 
Well, from last to 4th in the next race and then I got disconnected, all before T1. :lol:

Edit: Well that was odd, made it up to 8th in the first few turns of the next race C and then the car just spins out in the bottom end of 3rd for basically no reason at all, didn’t even get the tires dirty. Then it’s like that the rest of the lap, I could hardly touch the gas for whatever reason. Weird, had to quit the race.

I didn't get punted off in this one for a solid (for me) 19:09 finish time.

Second half was a relaxing cruise through the British country side watching the gaps grow. I finished 15 sec after the A+/S and 15 sec ahead of the B/S chasing me. I got close to a 1:12 again but no go. The A+ was cruising first, then set a 1:12 best lap to take the fastest lap as well.

Signing up for the 8pm race.

First attempt multiple crashes 7th but no time!

Race 2 I was pole position, still don’t know how to start, chaos at the start, pretty sure @Sven Jurgens got taken out lap 1.
I went wire to wire but drove like a scared little baby, still almost wrecked another.
No clean bonus.
This car is tough to race. I can’t come within 3 sec of my qual time...
Time for a Heineken or 3!
