You want understeer try the Aston.

Amazes me more people don't use the Ford GT, it's not as reliably fast as the Merc for me but in good hands it must be uber quick as it's a beast on the straight and corners ok too. I just lose the rear sometimes and it kills my times but if i hook it up, it's fast.

It has been my go to car for the last 2 weeks. Love the sound of that supercharger. I wish they would add the Ford GT GTE car though.

Wow man! I would like to be sitting in there when a Mazda 787B come past flying me on Mulsanne straight. And test some other cars too! Nice setup.

Stream is up, just had a good race with @Dairyworker and @Mc_Yavel , they caught a bit of bad luck at the start but look to have finished well. Best result so far of 2nd for me. :)

This happens to be the worst race I had in a long time. The DR.D driver in front of me (you punted him off later) was really slow. We made contact at the begining of the race and he got a penality, he brakes at all the flat out corner in the first part of the track and cought me off guard and off the track I go.

When I caugth him later, he just block me and make shure I dont past. Brake check ,cut the line, almost stop at the apex. This went on for the majority of the race until he put himself off track.

That race, I paid the price for not qualifying.

That still doesn't protect you against the bump from behind SR Down or penalty. Unless by mega passive you mean pulling over every time a car comes near from behind. That's what I had to do for my long clean streak at Catalunya.

Basically just trying to avoid any fighting and not resist any moves made, working surprisingly well so far. Also is far more DR friendly up 5 at nords with 0 fighting or resistant

The only foolproof way to raise the SR is to sacrifice the DR by cruising around at the back of C races. You may get a clean race while racing hard and mixing it up with the other cars, but your fate is not entirely in your hands.

I did the opposite. I decided to set a time and try and start at the front. It gave me pole of a C/C lobby and i won gaining like 20 sr lol. I lost 5 of it taking care of business at interlagos after but it was worth it.

Sad to say I executed my first revenge punt in months this morning. Interlagos is one of my favourite tracks so tried a couple of races. I'm not the fastest but do try to race clean and tend to make up more positions by pressuring people into errors than spectacular overtakes.
This worked this morning as a porsche went wide and I passed him. Then passed another car who had gone off. Into the last turn and I was rather pleased with myself until the porsche came steaming up the inside, pushing me wide and getting alongside. No drama and I was quite looking forward to the drag race along the main straight. Nope banged me again on the left hand bend then deliberately drove into me a further 3 or 4 times, each time forcing me nearly off the track.
In hindsight I maybe should have just glanced the wall and hoped he got the penalty. In reality I slip streamed him into turn 1 and was going full speed inches from his rear when he tried to brake. Childish and petty yes, but satisfying - absolutely.

I have absolutely no idea why anyone uses the 911 at Interlagos. It can turn a lap but gets EATEN by the Merc of the Ford on the straights.[/

911 is a blight on this game.
One of every 10000 users of it can complete a race without divebombing barging or losing control on exit running no tcs
It’s other popular moving is ricocheting off other cars while flying off track.

Spent the last two days on the Ring starting from the back with @Sven Jurgens around me. Good fun racing with you.

So many spins... it took me 3-4 races before getting the feel of the car and track. Good combo for race C, love it. Making a pass requires the good will of the other driver too.

This mroning I qualifed and got two poles and two wins in four races. I manage to keep @Dairyworker behing me in the last race I did. You did put pressure in the first lap. Good stuff.

Off to Brazil to hot lap tonight.

Tried the Audi first, 1:33.469.
Then tried the AMG Merc, down to 1:32.466. :)

Tonight is the first time I've got below 1:33 in a Group 3 car at Interlagos. My previous best was in the Atenza with 1:33.007.

I've got the morning off on Friday, so hopefully I'll get to the Nurb.

:cheers::cheers:
You know how people get anxious and impatient in the B sprint races? It's even worse after they get held up by a glitched start. I committed the crime of slowing down to not hit the car in front of me, and the green flag guy behind me wasn't having it.
He smashed through everyone at the first turn and emerged at the front of the pack. :indiff:

Check out the weirdo A+ guy starting in front of me, unqualified.
Yeah the weirdo also told u before it happened il will be ur fault loolllllll

I dunno, the FF cars could have the straights, but Spa offers a lot more room through the twisties for passing than Bathurst so I think the Meganes will get eaten up.

I hope.

Ya, I don't know if the Megane or Audi will be able to navigate Eau Rouge with the same precision as the other cars and quite a bit of time lost if you screw that up. I think this will favour the other cars more.

Few more on nords.

First one i was following someone too close and got sucked off into the grass.

Second one, started 2nd, dropped to 4th, and then crashed again, recovered from like 16th to 8th with fastest lap.

Last one, started pole somehow and a very nervous lights to flag win!! :D This is my first win ever since making it to DR B i think. Helped a lot by 2nd and 3rd having a few battles. Got CRB but sadly not FL as i was just a bit too careful not to crash out, plus watching my mirrors and the time gap too much (trying to keep gap behind to above 3 seconds by driving slowly :banghead: )

Back to racing, it's the afternoon, schools are out and directly mangled by Brazilians and American kids. It was raining SR Downs lap one from all the bumps from behind leading to a couple BS penalties as well. 9 sec to serve at the straight. I finished 5th in the end, -22 SR, down to 77. Welcome home kids, start ramming.

Starting behind a 9:13 B/B driver, in front of a S/A south American, I'm dead

Survived round 1, the driver behind had a false start. 3rd place finish with fastest lap but only +2 SR to 79 from all the bumps received. This might take a while.

Interlagos pace is pretty tasty this week. I'm trying to get to grips with some of the new physics changes which are making the Huracan a bit of a non-option for me as I can't get consistent with it. Looking at the number of people at 1:31.8 and under (over 300) there's clearly opportunity for quick laps.

Yegads it is ugly for me this week. Decided to test the races just in case. Did ok at Interlagos, but those pesky 911s are murder for divebombing. Especially driven by C/C drivers. Did ok in the end getting back by them though. Took a chance at the Nord. Ugh, i was so all over the show. Would be doing well then just touch 1 wheel on the grass and see ya seniorita. Went back for a second round and only mildly better.

No qualifying lap means i get behind some D drivers who are almost as sketchy as me, but who also believe in all out contact. Pushed off track? No penalty! They Cut massive corners? No Penalty! I bump over a cone and blip onto the grass skidding to a halt? Penalty for cutting corner! I get blasted into a turn? No ghosting, 2 second penalty for contact! They run completely into the grass and cut back into me? They ghost and get the completed pass! I think I am actually going to call it and just take a break. I don't have the control on the Nord, can't really be bothered with the other 2 even though I normaly like them. Too frequent. Going to have to leave this week to the rest of you.

No racing today. Doing laps instead. Plan to get the average time down 10 seconds before trying again.

It's so bizarre how times are so consistent until you get better then it's consistent at that faster time. For me right now I have a 4:00 mark. I can tell before I hit the split if I'm under or over 4:00. Neat.
