I've loaded a ghost car and I can't see it. even pressing R3 button,

Yes, I race with DS4

Edit: I was trying a new QT at Maggiore (Practice mode)
I think you have no replay space left on your hard drive. When that happens, aside from not being able to save replays, you can't use ghosts either.

This is my final TT lap for the week. Basically my 54.863 but with a good final sector. Felt really good to hook everything up and get a 1:54.726. 4th on the EMEA leaderboard at the moment, very pleased :D

BB +1.

Yes, in

My DR class. Highest C driver in the lobby.

The system is weird.. and completely pointless. Even though it's numerical, it's ordered alphabetically. I've had a door number of 1 on a grid with a couple of DR/As, and I've been DR/D with only 1 DR point . The system kinda gives you an idea of where you are DR wise at the higher DRs, but at the lower DRs and on mixed DR grids the whole thing falls apart.

Excuse my OT, but I'm curious,
@Invisigoth 芸能禁止, where that come from? Interesting sign. For those who don't read japanese, it says "public entertainment prohibited". Or if it's Chinese the essense is probably the same even if the reading changes slightly :)

It's from signs in the anime "AKB0048". Personally I believe Idol singers are really the evil aliens pulling the strings of most of the world's governments.

Race B at Maggiore just isn't my cup of tea. Ironically, I almost took my 2nd victory on this track last week, and just took 3rd place a while ago, but apart from that, Race B has been a disaster for me. My DR has dropped to the lowest levels of D (800 points). I am not giving up. My go to cars on this circuit are the Lexus, and the RS01. Also need to crack the 2.00 quali time. Currently stuck at 2.00.933

I enjoyed it last night despite the new pen system. Ironically it was Race B that ruined my SR and DR when I first tied it on tuesday night. Last night the same track took me back into Sr S and I had a couple of 2nd and 3rd finishes. I could have had a win or two if i'd been more aggressive. But still it was satisfying enough to get the S back.

I have a 1:58.2 qt with the vette. I'm struggling with the 4th corner entry/exit before the peanlty zone straight. But I don't know where to find more time tbh

Perseverance pays off! Shaved off .33 off my quali time in Race B. Started 3rd. Was 1st by the first corner. Led the full race. Got the fastest lap. And finished 10 seconds ahead of 2nd place

For me personally, if Turn 3 is made correctly, then turn 4 becomes easier. I try to take a out-in-out line on turn 4 which allows me to accelerate early on while exiting T4. I recommend you try the Lexus or the RS01 on Race B. They are good handlers and make good tight turn ins.

Jumped in to a Race A last night, with no real expectations given the penalty system. I wanted to do some practice laps, but wanted to start closer to the back.

Qualified 11th. By the time we got to turn 1 it was a giant blob of cars. But as luck would have it I was the only one that got punted. Was a lonely couple of laps then ended up quitting.

Good times!

My projector bulb should be in today so hopefully I can do some racing this weekend, I hope the penalty system is better.

The other day in Race B, I was going side by side through turn 3 with someone (I was on the outside) and gave more than enough space, I was nearly touching the grass. The other guy carried a tiny bit too much speed and understeered a bit, there was slight contact and I came out with a 1 second penalty, race over.

Watch a few YouTube video & I noticed people chatting about the number on their car . Each time the person said if they get higher than the car number you have you get better points.
Is that true?

With the slow down penalties can you reduce it on each track by slowing down on the track? Or is that only with lobby racing?

As a general guide door numbers are given in order of DR. So the higher your DR on the grid the lower you door number. Note that this does fall apart when there is a mixed grid. Finishing higher than your door number and expecting to gain DR is overly simplistic though as there are other factors in play. Essentially just finish as high as possible. Beating your door number AND being in the top half of the field SHOULD increase your DR, but not always depending on the DR of others in the field and where they finish in relation to you.

Slow down penalties can only be reduced by slowing anywhere on track in lobbies. In Sport Mode you can only reduce the penalty in penalty zones.

The part with the door numbers are partially true. I think @Famine has a write-up on how it works.

The penalties in daily racing can only be done in the penalty zone, the car automatically slows down.

Edit: @watto79 beat me to it

Great racing with everyone i have seen at the ring this morning. With one glaring exception. There is one guy in every race that is probably the dirtiest i have seen to date. Seen a few fellow members, great to race with names i know and trust.

Happy friday folks!!!! :cheers::gtpflag:

I've been running with an alt account at Maggiore this morning saving my DR before FIA races

Looks like you had a few easy wins. I only managed a high of 5th from starting last.

I was fodder for others testing the new penalty system on Race B this morning. Smacked into the wall at T1, absolutely no penalty to anyone, and all had blue S at the end. Edged out into the big dipper right hander, again no penalties. But, I did get a few CRB's.

I wish I could bring myself to race dirty!!!
