Race A: One Make GT-R V spec - Tokyo East Outer Loop, 3 laps
Race B: One Make Porsche Cayman GT4 - Nurburing GP, 3 Laps
Race C: GR 4 - Willow Springs Big Willow, 12 Lap [7 x Fuel 8 x Tires]

Why do they do 3 slow races after GR.1. Ugh, I'm addicted to speed, not watching paint dry.

I like Big Willow, yet GR.4 reduces my chances as more people will manage to stay on the road :/
Tokyo sprint with sports tires, can't see where that's going...
I'm really bored of Nurb GP by now, 24H or no deal. More tracks needed!

Wipeout VR again tonight.

Yeah, in a GR4 car.

Fair enough, I thought you were saying it was an open group 4. Looks like a good race though; whilst uncompetitive in the group, the Cayman is quite fun to drive. Oh, and someone said it's a standing start as well...

must take into consideration US is the most populated server,

No, it's not. GB and France alone have 881,000 which is more than USA, Canada and Brazil at 718,000. Then add Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Greece, Czech Republic...... and Saudi.

Totals are:
EMEA 2,423,200
US 743,600
Asia 584,300

Down my Race C. Every race I’ve gone forwards 3-5 places (3 races so far)
DR gone down 500, 500 then 2000!

Any ideas why?

It's all about finishing position. Gaining places doesn't mean anything

Against my better judgement tried GR4 @ Willow - big mistake.

Had a GTRP guy behind me and he was as clean as a whistle, no problems. Big traffic jam @ top of the hill, manage to find some space on the inside and stay there for the first of the right hand corners goinginto the long last corner.

I give the GTRP guy room and stay on left of track, brake a tad early @ 150m for last corner, get Kamikaze'd buy one, clips me and goes straight off track, then get hoofed by another guy who decides to take racing line even though I'm clearly right by him.

Rejoin track and greeted with a 10 second penalty!!??!?

End up last, manage to make up 5 places by the end and stay 'clean' for remaining 11 laps. Safety rating not affected but have dropped 3000 DR points....

Awesome...

I thought i give the Nurburgring GP a shot today! It's a good track for me.. but since i was down to B / C i thought i could gain some point. At C its carnage.... i went from B/C to D/E in 3 races.... :banghead::ouch:

Oh man :(

You got a reset. I feel your pain and have been here before... except I went from about 20k to 7k, not 45k to 7k

Best bet now is to just race clean, get your SR back to S then race back up to DR A. Don't try and race amongst lower SR groups, you just get sucked down even further.

I've read about racing in B, C or lower.. but never thought it would be like this.... they leave no space, bump you where you can and then get angy towards you... man.. i gotta let myself drop back to get my SR up again like you say.. and then focus on my DR again... i dont like racing in this class... i HATE it...

A couple of weeks ago I dropped to SR B after a bad race on Interlagos, luckily I held on to DR A, but the racing was so different... I wanted to escape as quickly as possible... it was horrible, I actually couldn't believe it. Sidewsiping and ramming all over the place

Yeah, get SR to S then work on DR - you'll be back soon :)

RIP

I can't imagine being reset. I am A/S, but yesterday I fell down to A/A. I was trying to recover, but got disconnected on the last lap of Interlagos. I was afraid my Sr was going to drop a ton since the game thought I quit, but luckily it was still in A, and I was able to recover

Yep - I thought the Kamikaze attack on Willow would be the worst thing I'd see in a while...

Then, I tried the Cayman race at Nurb GP......the first corner:

Sweeeet..................... mother................. of ..................... God

Kept wide left, missed the carnage, finished 3rd (starting 7th) and got a clean race!

 GT Sport daily races - the one thing in life that never ceases to amaze

Haha, I was thinking of hogging the middle and take a defensive line on T1, treating it like a right turn Interlagos T1, but going wide might be the safer choice as I can imagine somebody losing their grip on that inside transition and creating a mess.

Welcome to my world for the past 145 races :p.

Shouldn't you be fast enough to just start from pole and then drive it home? (On courses without T1 carnage...). That should rocket you so SR S fast.

I wasn't planning too, but pretty much everyone went for the 'apex' / inside, I started on the left so that helped with the decision to stay there.

As I was going widely around the apex (nearer the left hand edge of track than the right edge), 3 cars ghosted past me, 2 of them going backwards!!

Anybody else having issues???
I cannot get Willow Springs working today. Literally.
First try: Network disconnect while loading track. (never had any connection problems before. Internet is working fine)
Second try: GTS Crashes/hangs on "loading track"
This is quite annoying as I put quite some effort into qualifying and was on pole/third.
